*Laxus' POV*

"do you have magic?" she nodded while looking down at the floor "well if you want to strengthen your magic to help protect others then you can come with us to our guild" she looked happy but then turned away "I will just be a bother to everyone there" she mumbled before I sigh and start walking away "well it's your choice" after a minute I hear her yell "please wait I wanna come with you" I smile at the red head "well let's get going"

*years later*

"HEY EVERYONE, WE'RE BACK" I hear Natsu yell as he kicked the door open as Mira had just placed my drink in front of me "thanks mira-nee" I thanked my brother's girlfriend for my drink "anytime lily-chan" I see her smile brightly while turning around before looking back at me and asking "hey lily-chan? Do you know where laxus is?" "He's on a mission with the thunder legion and he said that it was 'too dangerous' for me so he left me here" I muttered the last bit, rolling my eyes.

She chuckled at my boredom "don't worry I'm sure you'll find a job soon" before natsu walked towards the bar and sat next to me "Mira we have a newbie" he yelled out with a cheeky grin before I slapped him on the back "natsu don't be rude" I heard a gasp from behind before seeing a blonde girl at the bar "OMG your MiraJane!!" Mira smiled at the excitement of the new girl, "why yes I am, what's your name?" Mira stuck her hand out and the blonde grabbed it immediately, "my name is Lucy heartfillia"

She squealed before looking at me and gasping again, "OMG LILY!!" I look up at her and raise my hand "yo lulu" "Lulu? Do know her, lily?" Mira and natsu asked confused, "of course I do, I met her when me and laxus went on that mission a while back. So how's it been?" "It's been good I was hoping you weren't here so then I could surprise you" I pushed natsu off of the seat next to me tapped the now empty seat "that's just rude lily" I heard natsu whine "oh shut up you big baby" she got close to my ear "can I talk to you in private?" I looked confused but then nodded and stood up "we'll be back in a minute" I said and they nodded before Mira got back to work and natsu ordered a LOT of food.

"So what's up lulu?" she looked embarrassed, "well you know how you told me about people who are fated to each other and are connected by a special bond?" I nodded, "what does it feel like? Or what is it supposed to feel like?" she looked at me waiting for my answer I sigh as I couldn't think of an answer, "I'm not sure, you see I don't know if I've met my 'special person' yet. You could always ask Mira though" she looked slightly disappointed before nodding and we headed back to Mira at the bar where she asked Mira the same question and she answered with "it feels like you can't live without that person, if that person was to die than a piece of you will disappear along with him or her-" she got cut off as a pair of muscly arms around her waist "It's fate and because of that we are bound to our lovers forever" she smiled as he finished her sentence for her before going back to making drinks for the rowdy people we call our family.

"Hey bro how was the mission?" he took a sip of his drink while sitting beside me "to be honest it was a bit of a let-down but I managed to get you this" he said as he reached into his pocket and grabbed an average sized sharp monster tooth with a hole drilled into the larger part which was filled with black twine causing me to gasp "what beast is it from?" "Luckily it's from a (f/b)" I gasped and almost screamed "thank you big bro" I smiled up at him as snowflake was lent up against my legs asleep.

*Time skip*

Lucy had now been with the guild for a while and fairy tail's team natsu had been on plenty of missions and now they've been chosen for a dangerous mission that I was also assigned to.

"Hey Erza do you know what kind of schemes the Oracion Sies are up to?" I asked the red head next to me in the wagon which was being driven by happy, said red head turned to me after knocking natsu out to shut him up "I don't really know about what they hope to achieve but I do know that they are up to no good therefore we will stop them and put an end to their madness" she answered with determination burning in her eyes.
