NEXT MORNING

I woke up when someone barge trough the door . I go into protective stance infront of my love but relaxed when I saw it's her brother and his wife. They quickly rushed towards her scanning her figure.

"What happened?" Graham ask . I hang my head low in shame , I was suppose to protect her but I couldn't even do that.

"She got shot." I say softly. He snap his head towards me.

"What?by who?" He ask and my heart drop to my stomach by these next words.

"By my father." I say still hanging my head in shame.

He came up to me and punched me in the jaw  but I didn't fight back . I deserve this and even more . Just then Courtney came in and pulled Graham off me , she pulled me out of the room . We reached outside and she sat me down on the chair.

"What happened, I want you to explain everything. "She say and it's clear that she's controlling her anger. I take a deep breath and look at her with tears in my eyes.

"After our date we confessed out love for each other and then she said she'll be my girlfriend. We spent the weekend together. I went to take the test and I passed as to which she threw me a surprise party but she invited my parents by accident. They came and I lost control and lashed out on them . I pulled Catlin towards the balcony and she calmed me down. We were hugging when she suddenly turned us around and that's when the gun fire went off. " I explain tears falling from my eyes.

"I know that you all must hate me but I love your sister . I love Catlin,  I need her to be with me ,in my arms , smiling, laughing, blushing hard when I kiss her . Please don't take her away form me. She's mine and only mine" I pleaded Courtney but she started giggling. I look at her confused.

"You know when we were younger before she became so uptight and only reading science stuff . She use to read romances about possessive males. We use to day dream about our future husbands being so possessive and we would make up fake scenario in our head of how we would meet them. The one line which were in each of those scenarios is 'She's mine' or 'mine' but after Julian she gave up on such stuff and only focused on her studies. Now that she finally have her fantasy come true who are we to stop you love birds." She said making me extremely happy.

I gave her a hug and thanked her . I quickly got up from my chair and went back into the room. Graham stood up and he was coming towards me but I walked past him and went straight to the love of my life. He came and pulled me away from her.

"Stay away from my sister. I swear if you come near her I will-" He treated but I cut him off.

"You will what huh ? You will hit me beat me . I don't care , no one and I mean no one can keep me away from my love whether you like it or not she's mine and always will be ." I say holding his collar . He glare at me, he opened his mouth to say something but was stopped by a soft call for my name.

"Buffy" she wispered. My heart swell at the fact that she called my name first . I let go of her brother and ran towards her . I kiss her all over her face making her giggle , oh how I missed that sound.

"How  do you feel angel?" I ask concerned. She gives me a faint smile.

" Nothing I can't handle." She say . Everyone comes to her and wishes her to get well soon.

They start laughing and making fun of stuff while I just sit there and stare at her beautiful smile. After a while everyone leaves but not before giving me hard glare but I couldn't care less . Catlin is mine and will always be mine whether they like it or not. "Earth to Jackson." My angel say snapping her fingers infront of me bringing me out of thought.
