Joe's POV:

"I didn't bring you this." Patrick said as he handed me the chloroform.

"Got it. Thanks." I muttered as I tucked the bottle in my inner jacket pocket. Patrick was currently parked two streets back to where our house was. I didn't want Taylor to have even a little bit of hint about what I was going to do.

"One more thing!" I remembered suddenly, "Mum was saying that you guys are coming over tonight." I started to say.

"Yeah no shit mate! Everyone has missed you a lot ever since you went away. She's quite eager to see you so is dad." He told me looking straight at my face. I realized I had been so indulged in Taylor that I wasn't making enough time for my family.

"I know. Can you call in sick tonight? Please just this once. I know she's planning on coming over to us but I have a really important thing on my hand that I need to take care of." I pleaded my little brother and he looked at me with annoyance all over his face.

"I hate you. Just know that. I'd have to go to the doctor's today and you're responsible for it." He agreed.

"I'll make it up to you. I promise." I honestly told him.

He still looked at me quite pissed.

I stepped forward and hugged him. He tried to resist half-heartedly but eventually gave in. He was my little brother after all.

"I missed you bro." He confessed and my heart broke suddenly. I promised in my mind that I'll make it up to everyone once my issues with Taylor are settled. I want her by my side always and I know my family looks forward to meeting her just as they do to me.

We backed away as I patted his back trying to cheer him up. "I know something's going on between you and Taylor. Tom hinted at it. But mom and dad don't know anything yet." He said.

I ran my hands through my hair and rested it on the nape of my neck closing my eyes.

"You better sort it out before anything happens. You how much we all love her and consider her as part of our family." Patrick said with seriousness and sincerity. It was the first time I ever saw him talk about something like this deeply.

"I know. I don't want anything to happen between us either. I'm sorting it out." I didn't know who I was trying to convince. Him or myself.

"With that?" He gestured with his eyes towards my pocket holding chloroform.

I stayed quiet as a mouse in the house.

He shook his head and headed towards the car. "Please try not to end up in jail. Mum is already watching too many crime shows these days." He said going back to his usual sarcastic self. I smiled and nodded.

After waving him goodbye I walked back to the house and got in. I took off my jacket and left the chloroform in my jacket pocket.

Taking a deep breath I tried to bring the actor out of myself. I know I was professionally an actor but acting in front of Taylor was much worse than on the actual set. I formed a solid plan in my head, straightened out my hair and finally went upstairs to our bedroom.

The door was unlocked and I slowly went in and saw Taylor sitting on the bed in a bathrobe with her hair went and her legs bare. She looked like she just got out of the shower. She was using her phone and looked at me once when I entered before turning her gaze back to the screen.
