Famliy Reunion part two

As we sat across from my now surprised sister she was staring at a place on the wall she looked like she was in a state of shock.

Larissa looked up at me and said "I thought you were never gonna find me" I could not believe what I was hearing did she say that I hoped I would not find her. I did not know about her untill I was fourteen years old.

It was valentine's day her birthday. my mom was in a foul mood my dad tried to hug her and she flipped out. I only caught bits and pieces of their conversarion all I heard was.

if it weren't for you we wouldn't have had to do it, you were supposed to protect me and you didn't.

I peaked around the corner and I saw my dad approach my mom.

I know sweet heart I should've and I didn't. I should have fought back and stood up to him but I was a cowered.

Then I heard something falling and break my mom was crying it was quite for a while then my mom spoke.

Today is larissa's birthday, everytime I think about her I see him and I just get so angry.

I was hiding behind a wall when I saw my mom break down. I was wondering who is larissa and this other person that shes speaking of, what did they do to my mom? and how is it my dad's fault?.

I sat there thinking about what I overhead when I was fourteen. I decided to speak up "what do you mean you thought I would not find you, did you not want to be found" I said very confused.

Larissa she had sadness in her eyes and when she looked at me. " Seren I was eight years old when I last saw you. at the time I did not know what was going on" as larissa was talking I could see that it was hard for her to talk about what happen back then.

"You were only a few months old I would go into your nursery everyday and play with you and talk to you" she said slouching her shoulders. I was gazing intently as she spoke of years I could not remember.

"I was talking to you about princesses and castles, and you were babbling back to me in baby talk its like you understood what I was saying to you." I saw a tear roll down my sisters cheek as she reminisced on days that she spent with me as a baby.

I reached over and gave her a tissue to wipe her big beautiful brown eyes. She wiped away her tears and continued to talk about the past. "While we were playing I heard arguing down stairs. I opened the door to your nursery, and went to the top of the stairs to see what was the problem."

"When I got there I saw three men in suits, one was black and the other looked like he was spanish. The man in the front he was tall with broad shoulders with hazel eyes his skin was a caramel color looked like he was their boss." I heard lainys voice come from beside me "larissa who were the men at the door"

"At the time I did not know who they were, the last thing I saw was my dad well serens dad getting into a scuffle with one of the men. Then I saw my mom move out the way to let the the others in" I could not believe what I was hearing my mom just let the strange men into the house. While my dad fought to keep them out.

"As the men came inside I bolted back to your room I had to keep you safe. I took you out of your cribe and we hid in the closet and I sang you are my sun shine to you to keep calm."

Then he came walking into the room calling my name. then dad came running in saying "leave my babies alone you are not taking her"

He spoke in this deep voice that felt like it could shake the house "I can and I will" he stood in the middle of the room then you sneezed. I tried to cover your mourh but the closet door was opened and there he stood. he told me to come out and he would not hurt me, I looked towards the door way and I saw mom telling me to come out, her face held no emotion at all its like the lights were on but no one was home.

I have never heard any of this before. when I tried to ask my parents about who is larissa my mom simply said nobody, but my dad always looked like he wanted to say something else but never did. I asked larissa " what happened then"

She continued to tell us that frightening day that I was happy I couldn't remember.

"I had you in my arms walking out to meet the tall man. He came and took you from me and that's when mom almost had a fit she ran in and snatched you from his arms. He then got down to my level and said he was talking me home, but I told him that I was already home he said "no your real home with me."

He picked me up and started walking out the room I was kicking and screaming and dad said "let me talk to her before you take her please" the man then said "you have five minutes on more no less" then he went down the stairs. I asked dad why was he taking me he said that i had to go with him because its where I belong.

I didn't know what he was talking about. He gave me a kiss and told me that he loves me and he always will.

We came into the livingroom and I saw you in mothers arms. You had tears in your eyes I went over and kissed you and gave you a hug. You grabed my face and gave me a kiss I said to you "I love you bunny."

I was crying, I went to sit next to her and we just held each other in a comforting embrace. "Larissa why did u call me bunny?" I asked her while we were embracing each other. "Thats what I use to call you, because you had these big beautiful eyes like a innocent baby bunny."

Larissa and I pulled away from each other she took a beep breath and proceeded to finish telling me the story.

After I said good bye to you I looked up to mom and she turned her back on me and told me "its time for you to go he's waiting on you" I was heart broken when she turned her back on me. I new she did not want me or loved me that moment confirmed what I was feeling. The black guy came in the house and walked me out to a black Lincoln with tented windows.

I climbed in the back seat of the car. I was crying and the man scooted over to me, and wiped my tears I gazed up at him and asked him who he was.

He said "My name is Ivan I'm your father"
