it was time for me to go to work I am a part-time office clerk at an insurance company I don't. work for money I do it cause I need an outlet something that allows. me to get away from all the hecticness at home.

as I was getting ready I wore a black pencil skirt that clung to me very nicely, and a nude color blouse that had a hint of Sheerness to it and it also accented my caramel skin tone very well then I slipped on a pair of nude pumps. then I finger combed my curly hair then put it in a really neat messy bun, when I applied my make up I went for a natural Glam look that for my make that would fit the work place with a nude lip stick.

when I was done I went to let hyun woo that I was leaving for work. I walked into the room and he was pecking seating his laptop. "Hyun woo I am leaving I call you when I get settled in Okay"I said, "yeah whatever" he said not looking up from his laptop. as I was about to leave the room when Hyun woo said something "you look beautiful by the way jagiya (my love)" he said in a calm voice, "komowo (thank you)" I said, "thought you did not notice my outfit at all."

"how could I not notice how beautiful you look"he said with a slight smile on his face.

"well I'm glad you took notice, I kind of put in a little effort hopping you saw it"I said smilimg at him.

"it's good to know that you still try to get my attention, and you do a good job at to." he looked up and gave me the most gorgeous smile I haven't seen it a long time with his slight dimple on his left cheek.

I turned to him and told him that I will call him later when I get there and with I left with a smile on my face and a pepe in my step.

"Good morning Mrs. Benton" the receptionist said with a bright smile on her face.

"Good morning, Sarah how was your vacation?"I said returning the same bright smile.

"it was great, me and my boyfriend took a cruse to the Bahamas."

"I hope you enjoyed yourself Sarah cause you deserved it you work hard and everyone needs a little me time."

"thank you Mrs.Benton." Sarah said with a glem of appreciation in her eye.

"you are wlecome Sarah, now let me let you get back to work see ya later."

I walked into my office and got straight to work as I was making calls to confirm appointments with with clients and do some filing Sarah came in my office to tell me that my boss Mr.Westfield need to see me.

I got up from my desk and made my way to the elevator I got in an pressed the button of the fourteenth floor when I got there I knocked on the door I did not want to be rude and barge in I waited till he called my name then I entered.

I saw Mr. Westfield sitting his big wooden desk with a mahogany finish. he reminded me of Santa clause minus all the snow white colored hair and the big stomach. he was sweet man who saw me as his daughter cause he has all sons five of them to be exact.

"yes Mr. Westfield did you call for me "I said,

"Yes I did dippy can you please have seat"he said with a sweet loving smile.

"How many time have I told you do not use my Nickname inside the office, that's for when we are off the clock." I said, folding my arms and giving him my fakest I'm serious face.

"I know, I know but I can't help it but I will try to not say it."he said giving me the biggest smile showing all his pearly whites.

"Okay"I told him

"Now down to business, dip... I mean seren I would like to introduce you to someone"Mr. westfield said "who is it" I said, before Mr. westfield could tell me about this mystery person a smooth deep voice filled my ears.

"Hello, I'm Daniel Auricchio it's a pleasure to meet you. Don has told me a lot about you and I assure you it has only been good things."

I know this chapter is boring, but I wanted to show how seren is when she outside of the house, and not just a wife taking care of a sick slightly abusive husband. she has a life to and it's not all about her husband.
