A Different Side of Knockout

General Narration

Smokescreen had woken up and went into the foyer. He witnessed everyone was here except three of his comrades weren't, not knowing of Knockout, Rosemary, Shadow and War Path. He greeted everyone.

Optimus: "It is good that you have returned."

Smokescreen: "Yeah. I'm glad to be back. Where's Shadow and War Path?"

Everyone felt silent and looked away. Smokescreen's optics widened.

Smokescreen: "What has happened?"

Bulkhead: "Shadow's in the infirmary with War Path."

Smokescreen: "Are they?"

Optimus: "Shadow isn't, but War Path was gravely injured."

Bumblebee: "Ratchet says he may not make it. We can only pray."

Smokescreen closed his optics and sighed softly and sadly.

Smokescreen: "Primus please don't let another one of us die."

Shadow P.O.V

I stood in the infirmary surrounded by three motionless forms. That of my "half" brother, daughter, and a friend who came from evil. I heard a groan and looked over at the former deception medic. I went over to him as he opened his optics. He looked over at me and smiled.

Knockout: "Hey Shadow. Where am I?"

He said weakly as he sat up a little.

Shadow: "You're in the Autobot base."

Knockout: "I see."

I only kept silence as I looked another direction. I felt Knockout take my servo in his, making me look in his direction.

Knockout: "What wrong? What happened?"

Shadow: "Well my daughter is unconscious, and one I call a brother is gravely injured......all because of me."

Knockout: "I'm sure you are not one to blame."

Shadow: "Dreadwing."

I grew angry as Knockout tighten his grip on my servo attempting to calm me down as he used to do it while I was captive on the deception ship.

Knockout: "Calm down!"

Knockout said sternly. I looked at him, but I was looking at a different side of Knockout. I didn't see the kind and cowardly bot. I saw a hint of wisdom in his optics.

Shadow: "Knockout..."

Knockout: "As much as I hate to let it run free like that, it is wrong to end a life for another."

My optics widened as I looked into his optics. I could've sworn he sounded like somebody I knew. I knew exactly who. I gave a smile and a chuckle.

Shadow: "You sound just like Optimus."

Knockout: "Why Thank You. I never really had the best rolemodles, but I know what I'm saying."

Shadow: "I get it."

Knockout: "Good."
