Chapter 11

"What do you want?" asked Bene curious.

"First, I need the healing potion," Sol asked her, trying very hard to breathe steadily.

The stag's eyes curved to form crescent moons "That will be 150 coins"

"We both know that is not the price."

'This fu*ker has got to be kidding me' Sol thought as forced himself to smile,

"I don't know how you know all this, but I am pretty sure that is not the only thing you want to ask"

This stag was way more cunning than Sol had imagined. This was not the time to play games. He had to get to the point.

"I can help you defeat Zeref in the upcoming tournament"

The System.

A huge survival game designed to elect the next Sun god. The judge was the system itself. The scapegoats were the humans and the game master connecting both sides were the stags, like the one in front of Sol.

The stag burst out laughing at the young man's absurd statement. "That is hilarious, I have not laughed like this since ages"

Sol puffed up his cheeks and said, "I am not joking"

"Fine, who is your guardian?" The stag asked.

"The Phoenix" Sol whispered

"Pft, that puny fallen god is going to help you," The stag said in disbelief.

'Who is a puny god' the phoenix's voice resonated in Sol's head.

the stag continued, "I don't know where you got this confidence from, but I am interested in you so that is why I will help you"

'Yeah sure, anyone would be interested in a human who knows things he is not supposed to' Sol thought to himself as he nodded his head to the Stag's words.

"Here take this, 50 coins," the stag said, throwing the portion towards Sol

Sol caught the portion and said, "25 coins"

The stag's veins popped out "whatever"

The stag disappeared, and suddenly a dialog box appeared

Defeat the horned boar

Difficulty: A

failure: death

Reward: 1500 coins

Sub scenarios were the scenarios that the stags initiated to control the gameplay, the main scenarios were given by the system and the hidden scenarios were unlocked when the player met a certain condition.

1500 coins seemed like a good deal to him and also the scenario forced itself onto Sol. But on the plus side, the scenario did not have a time limit.

The young man took out his sword from his pocket. He knew that dealing with them head-on was not an option. But,

"invest 50 coins on speed"

<Are you sure you want to spend 50 coins on speed?>

"yes"

<invested 50 coins in speed stats, new speed: 9>

He charged towards the boar head-on, without looking back, with only his sword in front of him. The Boar also ran towards Sol as fast as it could and suddenly

BAM!!

An explosion blew up in the middle, and both Sol and the boar fell on the opposite sides. Sol didn't really understand what happened. Was there another human apart from him in this forest?

Footsteps could be heard coming towards them, the sound of the footsteps got louder and louder mixed in with the sound out breathing and a person leaped towards them perfectly landing in front of Sol.

Dark hair cascaded down her shoulders as ruby red eyes focused on Sol. "Who are you?"

Sol's mind blanked for a moment as he took in her appearance. He looked into her eyes and finally it clicked that the lady in front of him was royalty or you could say she was prince Arthur's sister.

"I am Sol, your bother's partner."

She burst out laughing and said "oh my god, your name is Sol.............. imagine someone named lol"

It finally happened, the thing Sol feared the most. Someone was making fun of his name.

"Wait, what did you just say?" He asked, no one in this world would know the world lol that did not make any sense. If what he thought was correct, then she transmigrated into the book too.

"It is nothing," she said looking

"No, you said 'lol', didn't you?"

"What is lol?" She said.

'This person had to be lying, and she doesn't look like she will tell the truth anytime soon,' Sol thought to himself.

Sol was annoyed, "Who the hell are you? And why did you stop me from attacking the boar?"

"you said I am Arthur's sister, didn't you?" she smirked

*sigh* The person standing in front of him was far from Arthur's sister in the novel who was very shy and timid, always staying behind the protagonist.

"I know you are not really Arthur's sister, so tell me who you are now."

The girl looked right into Sol's eyes and said "I am Amari, the beast lord and these boars, are mine"
