We don't need words - Chapter 13
♥ Louis' POV ♥
It was a few days after my last chatting session with James. He hadn't come online since but I hoped he would. I needed someone to share my heartbreak with and he would understand me. I was logged in on the site while eating some cherries.
Suddenly, someone tapped on my shoulder and I turned around on my chair. "Hi Mum", I signed. "Hi Boobear, how are you?", Mum asked. "I'm fine." She smiled. "That's good. We have an appointment at the hospital on Friday. Apparently they have made a huge step forward concerning people with damaged hearing."
"Whatever, they said the same years ago and it only disappointed me", I muttered. It was true; two years ago Mum had said the same to me. I was very happy and hoped they could do something to make me hear again. It turned out to be nothing. At least, nothing for fully deaf people. I had cried for days after that.
Mum left and I turned back to my computer. A chatbox had lit up.
[Bold is Louis/Oliver and italics is James]
James: Hi, how are you?
Oliver: I'm fine, how about you?
James: I'm fine too. My friends are starting with the plan in a few days. Haven't heard from Will in two weeks now.
Oliver: I haven't spoken to any of my friends lately. I really hope your friend's plan works though!
James: Me too mate, me too. I have to go, Masen's coming over to discuss the plan for the last time. Nice talking to you!
I guess Masen was one of his friends who would help him with the plan his friends came up with to get Will to listen to James. If you're still following.
Oliver: Good luck. Nice talking to you too!
I logged off and switched my computer off too. When I turned around, I saw Daisy and Phoebe jumping up and down on my bed. "Hi Lou! You don't mind, do you?", Daisy said happily. "No, it's fine. Anything for my two favorite sisters", I smiled. "Hey, what about me and Fizz?", Lottie protested.
"Love you too Lottie", I chuckled. She rolled her eyes. "Yeah, whatever Lou." I pulled her in my lap and hugged her tightly, trapping her arms in my embrace so she couldn't punch me. Just to annoy her. I messed up Lottie's hair and she glared at me. She freed her hands and signed "Now I won't tell you who's at the door."
I jumped up and Lottie fell off my lap. "Seriously?" She gave me a death glare and I laughed at her. I ran downstairs and opened the front door. My curly haired best friend greeted me. "Hey Haz! Come in!" I felt weirdly happy today. "Erm, hi Lou. You seem very happy", Harry said, a weird look on his face. "I am and I have no idea why", I grinned.
He stepped inside and asked "Do you mind if we go to the Starbucks? You have to come out of the house some time." "Only if you pay", I grinned. "No problem", Harry chuckled. He shouted to Mum we were going out for a bit and he signed to me it was fine.
I grabbed my coat and my phone and Harry and I went outside. We took Harry's car and he drove us to the Starbucks. Zayn's car was in the parking lot and I knew everyone was inside. Including Him. I wanted to run away. I wanted to hide, to hide somewhere no one could find me. But I did want him to explain. And I think I was ready now.
