Once upon a time they were two lovers called atrain and Roma. They were two stars in the Milky Way galaxy and were divided one day by the asteroid belt. However, once a year all the magpies fly in the sky and make a bridge over the belt so that for one night, one night only, the two lovers can be together.
As I walked down the school hallway, all I could see was judging eyes. Just from one single glare, I could hear exactly what they were saying. Nerd. Gay. Bitch. I could see it in all of their eyes. They all hated me. But why? I was your ordinary typical girl. Well, I was your ordinary typical, nerdy girl. I was obsessed and I mean OBSESSED with the Big Bang theory. My favourite, Raj. Foreign, awkward and in need of a girlfriend. Story of my life. Queen of the nerds. Only that even the nerds think I'm weird. Untouchable, that's what they call me, that as what the whole school call me. So what? So what if I'm gay, doesn't that mean I can't be loved, so what? So what if I'm Iranian? I'm not just a flithy immigrant whose parents are 'stealing your country's job'. So what if I'm a super nerdy girl, obsessed with the idea of life on Mars or Europa? I'm human, too. I have a heart.
