"Dr. Levide, may gusto pong kumausap sa inyo."

Phillip Levide, a psychiatrist, lifted his head up from the paperwork he was currently busy with. He didn't have any more appointments lined up today, kaya naman nagtaka ito sa sinabi ng kanyang sekretarya.

"Do they have an appointment?"

"Itatanong ko po," His secretary left. Seconds later bumalik ang ito sa kanyang clinic. "Wala daw po. Ang sabi po niya 'I don't need an appointment.'"

Phillip sighed. He simply shook his head.

"Please kindly tell them that they actually need to have an appointment scheduled. Kung wala ay makakaalis na sila."

"Okay po."

He then returned back to his pile of paperwork, completely discarding what just happened mere seconds ago.

"Phillip."

His eyes grew wide at the sight of a woman who appeared in front of him.

Oh, pardon. It wasn't a woman.

"Mayari?" Phillip gaped at her, frozen in his place.

It was a goddess.

It's been years since he found out that deities truly do exist. The memory was still fresh in his mind and he knows it always will be. It didn't matter how many years would pass, he'd never fail to be surprised every time he's in the presence of a goddess. A freaking goddess.

How crazy does that sound? He just can't wrap his head around it. Even if he tried to tell anyone about this, they'd call him crazy. And he was a psychiatrist.

"You're back," He remarked. Itatanong dapat nito kung paano siya nakapasok only to remember that he was talking to a deity. They can pretty much do anything they want to.

Mayari sat down on the chair in front of Phillip's desk and his eyes followed her movement, still in complete shock. Suot nito ang isang black long sleeved turtle neck, beige pants and black round sunglasses. The goddess definitely knew how to blend in with the humans now. She crossed her legs, smiling at the psychologist.

"How long has it been? Mukhang tumanda ka ata."

Phillip let that comment slide and began to count. "Seven years," Sagot niya.

"Ang tagal na pala," Mayari mused, leaning back. "Ah, so bago pala 'yung secretary mo? Akala ko tumanda lang siya."

Magkaiba ang bilis ng takbo sa oras sa lupa at sa langit. What may seem like a year on the heavens is a decade on Earth.
