JEREMY
I've thought about a lot in the past. Family, home, music, the usual. I found an old picture of me and my little sister. I may be insane for doing this, but I decided to find her and make amends after 20 years. When she was 1 and I was 5, my parents divorced. Dad got full custody of her and my mom got full custody of me. Now that I have more time, I thought I could do this. I pulled out my phone and texted my mother.
To: Momma McKinnon
"Morning! I wanted to ask you something kind of important.."

From: Momma McKinnon
"Morning dear! What is it you want to ask me?"

To: Momma McKinnon
"I've decided to meet my sister. Y'know, to catch up and all since we both got separated. Do you have her number?"

From: Momma McKinnon
"Oh wow! Indy would love that. As a matter of fact, I do have her number. It is (727) 811-5511."

To: Momma McKinnon
"Thank you. I'll call her in a bit. Talk soon alright?"

From: Momma McKinnon
"Sounds good! Bye dear. Love you!"
I closed out the application and decided to save Indy's number in my phone. Now, moment of truth. I clicked the call button.

INDY
I sit in my apartment with nothing to do but grow immensely lazy and antisocial. I flipped through the channels and found nothing. I decided to grab the documentary on Fall Out Boy. I put it in the DVD player and sat back down on the couch.
I'm 10 minutes into the story, when my phone buzzes. I looked at the caller ID and seemed to be a Florida number. I answered it. "Hello?" I spoke. "Uh, hi. My name's Jeremy. I'm positive that you don't know me but our mom and dad split when you were just a baby. You were with Dad and I was with Mom. I'm your brother, Jeremy McKinnon." He said at a fast pace. I was conflicted. I remember my dad telling me I had no siblings. "Wow, I'm sort of at a loss for words yet surprised. My father told me I had no siblings." I scratched my head.
"I'm being completely honest with you. I'm four years older. We both lived in Ocala, Florida then, I guess we both just moved away." He said.
"That is true. I'm currently residing in Chicago. What about you?" I asked.
"I'm on the road but, I will be in Chicago on Wednesday. If you would like to meet after all these years" I smiled. "That would be nice. I guess I'll see you then. We could meet at Starbucks if you'd like." "I actually would. Say, 8 am?" He said. "Sounds fine. See you then, Jeremy." "Same to you, Indy" We hung up and I felt the weight off my shoulders just fall off. I'm sort of mesmerized his name. 'Jeremy McKinnon' I repeated. Sounded so familiar but I can't think of where.
