"Indy?" Someone kept saying my name. I opened my eyes and seen Neil hovering above me. "Hey." I spoke groggily. "I can't sleep. Will you take a walk with me?" He asked. I smiled and nodded. I got up and got dressed and fixed my hair and makeup. I grabbed my vans and we quietly left the apartment. "So, what's on your mind?" I asked him. "I don't know. Not much really. I just want some time alone with you." He stopped and turned to face me. I just smiled at him. He looked up at the sky and sighed. "Before I tell you what's on my mind, can we get some coffee?" He smiled at me. "I know just the place." I locked arms with his and we walked 2 blocks to the coffee shop I showed them a few weeks ago. We walked in and sat down at a booth in the corner. "What can I get you two?" The waitress asked. "Uh, 2 coffees please." Neil spoke. "Coming right up" she smiled and walked away. I looked down at the wooden table, admiring the carvings. One spot catches my eye. It read "Peter Wentz was here, 2004" I laughed to myself and smiled. I look up at Neil and smile. "So, what's on your mind?" I asked. "Well, honestly, you. You're on my mind. Before you say anything, just hear me out. I honestly have feelings for you. We click easy. I've never had a strong connection with anyone. All I'm asking for is a chance." I blushed. The waitress set down our coffees. I thanked her and took a sip. "I feel the same way." I smiled. He chuckled. "Really?" He said. I nodded and smiled. "Well, great!" I took another sip and marveled at his excitement.
We walked back to my place around 1 am. We got inside and I took off my shoes and walked upstairs. Neil followed behind. "Well, goodnight." He said walking across the hall. "Um, no. You're sleeping with me tonight." I grabbed his hand and led him into my bedroom. I plopped onto my bed and curled up next to Neil. This felt so right.
Neil POV
I pulled Indy close to my body and kissed the top of her head. I just laid there, taking it all in. I couldn't believe that this was real.
