INDY
I was getting ready to go meet Jeremy. Nerves began to settle in. I began to make a bowl of oatmeal and heat it up. As that was going, I went into my bedroom and put on my light blue skinny jeans, a plain, loose white shirt, a denim jacket with grey knitted sleeves, and toms. I checked the time and it was 7:30. Once my hair and makeup was done, I pulled my oatmeal out of the microwave and ate it. I felt my phone buzz and seen Jeremy was calling. "Hey mysterious brother." I chuckled. "Morning mysterious, little sister. I'm in Chicago. Im leaving the hotel now. See you in a bit." He said. "Okay cool. See you soon! Bye." I hung up and finished my breakfast.
It was now 7:50 am. I was within walking distance of Starbucks. I locked my apartment door and left onto the sidewalk. I put in my headphones and played "Grenade Jumper". My body began to shake. Not just because of the snow, but also meeting Jeremy. It's a lot to take in.

JEREMY
I reached Starbucks and ordered two hot chocolates for Indy and I. I sat down at a table near the heat and waited for the drinks to be ready. I pulled out my phone and texted Indy.
To: Indy
"I'm here. Just waiting on you, slow poke :)"
After a few seconds, she responded.
From: Indy
"I'm coming, I'm coming. By the way, ice is not for the uncoordinated. I just slipped a few minutes ago."
I couldn't help but laugh. She reminds me of Neil. He's very uncoordinated when it comes to walking.
I set my phone down and grabbed the drinks and waited for her.

INDY
I wiped the shavings of ice from my thigh. I hope no one saw. I walked quickly to Starbucks to get out of the damn snow. As I reached the place, I open the door and am greeted by the woosh of hot air. I sighed in relief. I walked in and heard someone call my name. I turn around to see who I would never think to call my name. I was stunned. I walk over slowly. I keep my eyes on him in shock. "You're... Jeremy McKinnon... From... A Day To Remember.." I stuttered. "Yeah, haha hi. As crazy as this sounds, I'm your brother." He laughed and stood up. I hugged him tightly. "Well nice to meet you finally!" I smile. "Nice to meet you too." I sat down and he gave me the hot chocolate he ordered. I thanked him and took a sip. "So um, Indy... How have you been all these years?" He asked nervously. "I've been fine! Graduated in 2008 with high honors. Then, I transformed myself. Meaning, I got a sleeve done then a nose ring piercing and plugs." I finished with a smile. "Nice. I like the sleeve." He examined it. "Thank you. Mainly band logos." I rubbed my arm and smiled at him. "We should head out before the blizzard starts up" Jeremy suggested. "Yeah. Wanna come back to my place? I walk faster when I'm in a hurry and plus it's around the corner." I said. "Sounds good. Let's go" he said.
We left Starbucks then power walked to my apartment. We were huddled in our jackets. Damn you, Chicago weather.
"Make yourself at home." I said locking the door behind us. "Thanks" He sat down on the couch. "Want anything to eat or drink?" I asked. "Coffee if you can." I nodded and prepared the coffee. While it was going, I sat down near Jeremy and turned the TV on. "So, what made you decide to move to Chicago?" He asked. "Oh, to live in the hometown of Fall Out Boy. I've been a fan for a long time." "Hell yeah. That's awesome." He said smiling. "Yeah, I love it except the weather. It's complete shit." I joked. "Agreed. And I've only been here for an hour" he said. I grabbed two coffee cups and poured the coffee. I gave Jeremy a cup and set mine on the coffee table. We continued to talk and bond. We were alike in so many ways.
