*Alex's POV*

After Rose, the Doctor, and I spent the day with Justin, we went back to the Tardis. The atmosphere is pretty awkward right now. The Doctor is well aware that Rose and I are upset about Mickey staying in the parallel universe. He's kind of giving us space right now, which doesn't really bother me.

Once we left Justin's I felt shitty again. He was a nice distraction with all his energy and happiness. I didn't even make fun of him once. Justin actually wrote the date down so he can remember this 'magical' day. Nerd.

I giggled as the Tardis was humming. I knew she was thanking me. She hasn't shut up since I walked back in the Tardis. I don't mind though, I think it's kinda cute. I ran my hand over the wall, "anytime, girl."

I grabbed my bag and tossed it on my bed. I laid down on my stomach before opening up my wallet. I held it upside down to empty it out. I rolled my eyes as two quarters, a dime, a stick of gum, a battery, and a small beetle fell onto my bed. "Ew!" I grabbed my wand and shot purple lasers at the flying bug, till it finally fell to the floor. I stared at it for a moment and shrugged as some smoke was coming off of it. "Stupid bug." I mumbled before laying back down.

"Here it is!" I took out my favorite picture of me, Mickey, and Rose. It was at Mickey's birthday party two years ago now. Jackie took it. Mickey's face was covered in cake and I was trying to push him away from me. Mickey's hand was on my cheek as he was wiping the cake from his face, on mine. Gross. He wasn't very happy when I smushed his face in the cake. Oh well. He was laughing while Roses arms were around his neck and was kissing his cake covered cheek. It was a true candid photo.

After that day, Mickey, Rose, and I were inseparable. Of course, I was always closer to Mickey, but the three of us still did everything together. It was like we were in high school again and having sleepovers all the time. Even after I moved out of Mickey's apartment, that didn't stop the sleepovers.

Dinner was always at six at the Tyler flat, with or without Rose. We'd play charades every Friday night at ten, after Rose got out of work. Then, Mickey would try and get Rose and I to watch a match, but that never happened. We didn't let it. That would've been a waste of time. Instead, we'd settle for some sort of movie series that everyone liked. Saturday's and Sunday's were always spent together as well. We'd either go out and spend the day adventuring or be lazy sacks of potatoes and sit on the couch while we vented about how shitty life is.

Sometimes, on a clear night, we'd sit on the roof and have a couple beers. We'd point to some random shapes in the stars. Rose and I would laugh at how bad Mickey was at it. One time, he confused an umbrella with a tree. I smiled at the memory.

Now that I'm sitting here thinking about it, who the fuck would become friends with someone who's first words to them are, "wow. Someone's grumpy." Those were Mickey's first words to me, not counting Sarah Clarke's wedding of course. I had just moved to London. I was carrying a box to my apartment and it broke. You know what was in the damn box? Potions! Fuckin purple, green, blue, yellow, all these bright ass colorful clouds everywhere. I had to do a spell fast before anyone noticed shit! I swear, every curse word in the book was coming out of my mouth. Mickey's always said one of my personality traits is being grumpy. He's not wrong.

There was a small knock at the door and I quickly wiped my tears, "come in." Rose poked her head through the door. Her eyes were red. I motioned for her to come in. She closed the door and slowly sat down on my bed. Before I knew it, Rose was in tears and hugging me tightly. "I miss him too."
