Chapter 9

When I had gotten home from the hospital with dad. I had opened the door and had been pushed to the ground. I looked back and saw my father being attacked by someone with a beak mask, so I quickly got up and went to the kitchen to call for help. I grabbed the phone from the charger and started calling the emergency number, getting down and crawling into a cupboard so if dad didn't win I still had time. A male answered and I started by telling him that my dad was fighting a mean guy and he needed help. I made sure to stay quiet enough to make sure only the male dispatcher could hear me.

I soon told him my address then I heard a thud. I told the nice man I had to be quiet now, or I would be found. I had smelt a metallic coppery like sent. And I knew it was blood so in a low whisper I told the nice man that I started to smell blood. He told me the cops were there any minute so try to stay quiet. I heard the sirens and then I heard running footsteps towards the front door. I stayed in the cupboard and accidentally hung up on the nice guy. I heard some police officers slowly coming into the house. I made a small cry as I opened the cupboard so they knew where I was. I slowly made my way out of the kitchen to only be stopped by a police officer.

I wondered why but sat down with the man and the island counter in the kitchen. Soon the detective came in And started asking questions about my father and the weird man. I ended up talking to him about family life after the questions finished. I told him how I'm an older sister and that my mom and Izuku were supposed to be coming home tomorrow. I started smiling knowing what I wanted to do when I grew up. The first time I thought of my future was the day we were attacked. After talking to the detective he took me with him in his car to the police station when I saw a man with a huge scarf with a small scar under his right eye I think..?

But I went over to the man and tugged on his shirt. He looked down at me then kneeled down. I looked at his black eyes with my big red eyes as we stared at each other. I started shaking and my eyes got watery. Then... I blinked. I frowned knowing I lost. I looked at the man again as he gave off a small chuckle and patted my head. I puffed my checks out trying to look angry. He chuckled again as he stood up again and walked over to the detective to talk to him.

~Aizawa's Pov~
"Is this the girl you were talking about when you said that her father was found trying to protect her?" I spoke to the detective. He nodded and I looked over at the girl. She looked like she was in her own little world. I gave a small smile but covered it quickly."I can watch the child until her mom is able to take care of her little brother and herself.But ill make sure to speak to her before I do." I said looking back at the detective."alright you can go with her tomorrow to go visit this mother, but please keep in mind she will have to know about her husband." The detective spoke to aizawa. "Will do sir I will let her know when we go tomorrow. But if i'm correct Maki is in the same hospital as Hayaokuri. (The father is Maki And the mother is Hayaokuri.)

"I'll take her in for the night and then take her when visiting hours start in the morning." I said looking at the girl as she started to do her hair then yawning. "She looks like she is ready for bed and she can cuddle my cats for bed." He nodded then walked to his office for the night. I had walked over to the girl to tell her she was going to stay with me for the night. "We're going to your house right? I don't want to see papa's blood on the floor right now.." She looked at me with her big red eyed and I nodded my head at her. She had wrapped her arms around my neck and I picked her up, rubbing her back and walking out of the police station.
