"I know where she - Fantasy - is," Light growled. "Dark."
"Really?" Hope exclaimed. "Dark would do something like that?"
"Well, yeah. Remember my dream? That's just how he is." Light sighed, sadly.
"But - does Dark really have to be evil? I mean, darkness can be fun, right?"
"I don't know."
"Well, where is Dark?" Curiosity asked.
"Follow me," Light stepped into the trees and walked on a rocky path. The others followed.
"Hope's right," Worthless said. "Does darkness really mean evil? Does Dark have to be mean?"
"People are scared of him" Light whispered. "That can change someone a lot."
"I'm sorry."
"It's okay. I just wish he would let me -" Light stopped. "I don't know."
They neared the matte black castle. "Now what?" Hope asked Light, seeing if she had a plan.
"Um..."
Worthless screamed. She was picked up by a figure in a black cloak and carried away, kicking and screaming.
"Run." Light said. "Run!"
* * *
"I wonder why she whistled," a firm voice said.
"Yeah. I guess it's just the first instinct."
Two giant honey-bear-honey-jar-things (those plastic honey containers that are shaped like bears) were turned away from Hunter, who was lying on a wooden table. Drops of black goo were slowly dripping onto the ground.
"Well, by now I've memorized the ingredients to the potion, so we're fine." The first bear said.
"Sure we are," the second bear mumbled.
The two bears grabbed different liquids from the table and mixed them together into a small glass. Soon a foamy red drink was brought over to Hunter and poured in her mouth.
Hunter reassembled and coughed. "What WAS - who are you?"
"Hello to you too, and you're welcome. I'm Ikshu." The first bear said.
"Madhura." Said the other.
"I'm Hunter."
"So..." Ikshu started. "What happened?"
"I was looking for the blue tiger," Hunter explained. "I needed to distract some people."
"The blue tiger?" Ikshu laughed. "Really?"
"Ikshu -"
"Okay, okay... Whatever you say, Madhura. But the blue tiger lives... Um... Well..." Ikshu pointed his honey finger up.
"Yeah. I know that." Hunter laughed a bit too.
"So what happened?"
"Well, my master Dark-"
"Wait. Dark?"
"Yeah..."
"As in Dark?"
"Uhhh..."
"My name is Ikshu. He killed my father! He will prepare to die!"
"Princess Bride much?"
"You see, we used to serve him, as a family of four. But then he ate my parents!"
"Oh. Sorry. But I guess I'm actually dead, so..."
"True. What happened?"
"An evil kidnapper tried to kidnap me, but I escaped, and then she killed me."
"Who?"
"T."
"Ah."
"And you? How did you end up living in the Pit of Grudges?"
"Well, technically, we're in the area next to it, HonDvacht."
"Oh. So how do I get back up?"
"Wait. First, why? What happened?"
So Hunter explained. "I need to distract people who are trying to save Fantasy. One of them is Reality. And it's all her fault, right? So I could get the blue tiger mad at her and wanting to fight her. Then Fantasy will not be saved, and a Dark will be happy."
"I have a better idea. Madhura?"
"Yeah?" Madhura entered the conversation.
"Make Potion A.L."
"Got it."
"What are you doing?" Hunter asked, worried.
"We're going to change your life forever."
