Esdeath locked the door once they both were inside the room. "What is it that you want to talk about?" she asked in her usual loving tone towards him. Goku didn't say anything at first and thought of a way to get it out to her.

"Mm... why did they have to kill the bandits.." Goku asked.

Esdeath frowned a little, realizing that Goku still has a soft spot for those scumbags. "Was it troubling you?", she asked.

"It was... We could've just captured them instead of taking their lives", he explained.

Esdeath sighed and sat on the huge bed in the middle of the room, "One day you'll learn, peasants like them do not deserve to live". Goku frowned hearing her words, she's changed.

He looked down, "This is wrong and you know it," he said. Her aura turns dark as she stood up, "You will learn, my love", she spoke lowly.

Goku then turned and sat on the bed, puzzled with her referring to him as my love which he didn't seem to understand. So then he decided to question it.

"Esdeath...?" he called,

"Hmm?" Esdeath hummed in reply as she was picking some clothes to wear to bed.

"You've been calling me, my love, lately... What does it mean? You've never used the word before..." Goku asked cluelessly.

Esdeath didn't know what to say at first, 'I suppose it's better now than later' she thought. Goku watched her walking to the other side of the bed, taking something out of the drawer.

"Hey, what do you have there in your hand?" he asked, pointing towards her hand that's behind her. Esdeath with a hopeful smile stood in front of him.

"Son-Kun... I've never told you this but when we met for the first time I feel like I'm always wanting to be with you. I know for a matter of fact that it's love and I'm in love with you, I truly am. And that's why I've been calling you my love because you are..."

'I-In love!?'

"And to be honest, I've never felt like this with anyone else except for you. I still remember the promise we made when we first met. Do you remember?"

"I-I don't..."

Esdeath chuckled. "You were so little, we promised to stay together forever and that you'll never leave my side", she spoke before getting on her knees...

Goku looked down, not knowing how to react to the situation they both are in.

"Son Goku... I love you with all my heart, you're all I ever want in a person. You're the perfect someone for me, you're the only one" she spoke before opening the box in her hand,

it revealed a shiny silver ring with Esdeath's teigu logo on it. It was her plan to have her logo on the ring and to have Goku's kanji on her ring as a reminder and resemblance.

"Will you marry me?"

Goku didn't know what to say. Looking at her smile that's filled with happiness, he didn't wanna hurt her.

"So? What do you say?" Esdeath asked, getting closer.

"Mmm..." Goku mumbled, looking away from her. "I'm not sure hehe..." he laughed nervously, Esdeath was confused with his reply. What was he unsure of?

"I mean... I see you as my personal older sister, you're always there for me, Esdeath, I can't thank you enough" Goku said smiling with his eyes closed.

Esdeath was baffled and kind of mad, but seeing his smile made up for it. She chuckles and closes the box before standing up, "Very well, this wedding ring can wait," she says as she places the ring box back.

In her head, she thought that Goku doesn't understand yet, she thought he was new to love and she was so sure that one day he'll answer her feelings in acceptance.

Esdeath smiled herself to sleep, thinking of the scenarios.
