This is gonna be a little diff from the original stories from both animes.
Esdeath's clan had been attacked and she went on alone. That's when one day she found baby Goku in a forest next to a mountain cliff, she took him and they both grew up toget...
Esdeath was the empire's general, she's pretty sadistic for a woman, she enjoys torturing people, slowly. Whereas Goku, nobody ever really knew where he came from, he was first brought by Esdeath a long long long time ago.
The two first met in a random forest when Esdeath was hunting danger beasts. After her father and people had been wiped out, she's been living alone since.

She was carrying a prey when she heard cryings. She went to check and that's when she saw him, Goku.
A baby saiyan under a huge cliff. Esdeath gasped before picking him up quickly dropping the dead beast, "Cute..." she squealed.

Not too far from them was grandpa Gohan on top of the mountain searching for Goku who had just fallen from the mountains.
"Hello, baby. Do you have a name?"
The saiyan just cried trashing around, "Mmm, well I guess we'll figure that out later. But for now, I'm gonna bring you with me"
After walking for some time, Esdeath then noticed the tail Goku had, swinging around hitting her back. "Oh? You have a tail?" Esdeath then stroke it lightly, feeling the fur "Are you a cat? Where are your cat ears?" she said rubbing his hair.
'So cute yet grumpy. I should keep him' she sighed. She looked at Goku and he had a clueless look and his face as if he was wondering what she's saying.
The look made her smile, "Promise to never leave my side!" Esdeath blushed hugging the baby tighter.
It's been a week since they met and Esdeath was gutting out an animal, Goku was sitting down watching. "Say, baby, you sure do eat a lot, do you consider this to be enough?" she asked gesturing to the dead beast.
Goku only nodded. Then the voice of an elderly can be heard, "Goku, is that you?". Goku began to cheer and laughed happily seeing his grandpa Gohan insight.
"Oh, Goku-" Gohan stopped when he saw a young lady in front of him holding up a sword. "Who are you, old man, and what do you want?"
The first thing that came to Gohan's mind was how fearless the young lady is, and how skilled when he saw the lifeless animals next to the campfire.
"Well, I'm Gohan, I see you've taken good care of my grandson, Goku" Gohan pointed to Goku who's crawling on the floor behind her.
"Goku?" Esdeath repeated as she lowers her weapon. Gohan approached Goku and Esdeath rose her weapon once again in anger, "Stay away! This baby belongs to me!"
Gohan just chuckles and pick Goku up, "Thank you so much for your concern for Goku! Do you have a place to stay?", Esdeath shook her head.
"Why don't you stay with us? You'll have shelter and food" Gohan offered and Esdeath agreed, she can't refuse to live in a house with the baby she loved.
Every single day, Goku would always wake up with Esdeath's arms around him tight making it pretty hard for him to breathe.
Esdeath would also draw pictures of Goku and herself in her notebook, sometimes it would be her hugging Goku with hearts around them.
They eventually grew together and were trained by Master Roshi, Esdeath was of course ahead of Goku, but he didn't give up, 'I'm gonna be as strong as you one day, Esdeath!'. They had their adventures but tragedy happened. Goku transformed into an ape accidentally killing his own grandpa Gohan, Esdeath had no choice but to cut his tail down.
Esdeath was a teenager when she decided to join the capital's military, she went through the ranks faster than anyone and became the general of the empire.
She got to choose her teigu, the demon's extract. She tamed it quickly giving her ice powers. And eventually became the empire's strongest.

"What do we do now, captain?" Run asked walking next to Esdeath with the Jaegers behind them. They were patrolling, walking around the capital.
Esdeath was lost in her thought thinking about Goku, she hadn't seen him since she left to join the military. 'I wonder how he's doing'
"Run.." Esdeath called, "Yes, captain?". "Do you think our numbers are enough to take on Night Raid?" Esdeath asked.
"I do think it's enough, Captain. We do have strong recruits, why do you ask?"
Esdeath smirked, thinking about Goku, "I'm thinking of adding another member". "Who do you have in mind?"
