Chapter 23

There was a massive silence with him just eyeballing me. I didn't know what to say. Begging was not working and fighting was proving dangerous to my body parts. If he wasn't threatening to eviscerate me, I would have appreciated the quietness.

"What is it going to be honey?"He broke the silence with his roar.

" If I have to have to endure horrible minutes with you for you to save my daughter? So be it... "He losen on his grip of my hair and stepped back." I will save her myself, and then, You will never ever see her again or... "

"You are threatening me? Even after I have made you a better offer?" I shut my eyes waiting for another slap and when it didn't come, I opened my eyes to see  him clutching on his head and Regina was standing there with a huge log.

"What the heck are  doing h... No I am sooo happy you came" pulling her into a hug, I shrieked. A laugh catching up before I finished. I was so happy to see her see there. I totally forgot about the pain on my face.

"You are welcome. what the fuck are you doing here and with him of all the animals ?" She questioned pointing a finger at the motionless monster on the floor.

I quickly wiped a tear from my face and winced when I didn't remember the burning cheek.

"Oh God, what did he do to you? "Gina  cried feeling my pain. I could still hear ringing in my head and my left jaw could not even move. I think he broke it.
" Nothing. I... how did you find me."I asked trying to changed the subject because I didn't have anything to say. I mean that was probably the stupidest thing that I had ever done and It wasn't worth repeating it out loud.

"I was coming from  the kitchen when I saw you descending the stairs. I  tried to let it go but with the stealth mode you tried to pull, I knew you were up to something. The way you put up with the darkness when we both know, you hate it..."

"Please don't tell me you told my brother."

"Of course not. Or he would be here and the screaming match between the two of you, would have been unbearable." I nodded. Thanking her as well as agreeing with her.

"What were you thinking though, and to make it very stupid of you, you left your phone in your car. What if I was a second late?" She chastised softly, trying to make me see sense.

"I..."

Zayn groaned and our eyes darted to him.

"I will kill you.one.day."he groaned squinting towards Gina.

" Well, that day is not today, idiot! "She threw over her shoulder at him,a victory smile on his face.

Zayn tried again and again then finally huffed when he couldn't get up.

" Let's get him out of here."I said, remembering that the place was supposed be blown up.

"Are you crazy? He was trying to force himself on you.I say we let him rot, and never speak of him ever again. " and she meant it, given the way her tone was stern and her hand relentlessly pulling me to the door.

I placed my hands on hers softly and she stopped all the pulling and looked at me. " I know, but this place is getting burnt down tonight and if we leave him here, he will definitely die. You know this is actually the one time I might have been able to get rid of him, but if he dies I will be doomed. I need his bone marrow. "I whisper yelled

"You should have said so. Let's go. "we got him up, she draped his arms over her shoulder and I did the same." this guy is high Cherry what were you doing with him and in this haunted house to begin with. I would love to accuse him of kidnapping you but I followed you."She reasoned, but it was crystal clear my stupidity had had her curiosity peaked.
