Ashe helping his partner with depression

"Ah, y/n, you're doing it again!"
Jolted from the fog that weighed heavy on your mind, you were met with a pair of pale green orbs filled to the brim with concern as you absentmindedly pulled out yet another strand of hair.
"Sorry Ashe, " you sighed, shaking your head. "I do it without realising, Manuela said it's stress related..."
"Is something bothering you y/n? You know you can tell me anything." Ashe's brow furrowed as he tried to help, eager to find out the problem so he could try and make you feel better.
"Not particularly, sometimes I just feel really low for no reason. It's nothing you've done." You sighed, before adding the last part reassuringly, knowing that the ashen haired man tended to put others problems on to himself.
"Well then, how about I treat you to something nice? You haven't eaten in a while, I noticed you skipped lunch again..." Ashe trailed off with a worried glance, before returning to trying to be upbeat for your sake, "Let's go to the dining hall! I'll make your favourite treat just for you!"
You smiled weakly at his attempt, his sincerity shining through as he tried to tempt you.
"I don't really want to go..."
"Then I'll just have to make it and bring it to you!" Ashe stood firm, determined to give you a spirit raising meal.
"But-"
"No buts y/n! This time you need to let others help you. That way you'll get your strength back and you'll be able to help yourself! Besides, it wouldn't hurt for you to rely on me a little more, I want to help you, I care about you and so do many others! Just hang tight for a while ok? Things will get better, and I'll have made your favourite in a jiffy."
Placing a hand on your shoulder, he gave a bright smile, hovering over and gently placing a kiss on your cheek.
"I'll be back soon, so please wait for me! I'll make the best treats you've ever tasted!"
And with that he was off, disappearing from your room and into the grounds of Garreg Mach with a purposeful spring in his step, leaving you with a faint warmth in your chest at his earnest attempt to cheer you up.
And heck did that food taste good when it arrived.
