Feeding the fish with Felix

"This is dumb y/n. Couldn't you have just done this yourself?"

Felix scowled as the pair of you hovered by the fishery side, a bag of fish pellets grasped tightly in your arms. It was a lovely day with clear blue skies, only a few cotton candy clouds dotting the horizon and you'd decided to spend it with your favourite swordsman.

"Well I could of done, but you've been training so much lately I thought you could use a break." You explained, grabbing a handful of pellets before scattering across the surface. Summoned by the magic of food, all kinds of fish began to swipe at the surface, some faster than others. The queen loaches nabbed pellets at lightning speed, as the fodlan carp took a slower approach, hoovering the surface.

"Hey Felix, watch this!"

Carefully you knelt down, going slowly as not to scare the fish and wiggled a finger in the water. As if called, over came the fodlan carp to suckle on your finger, mistaking it for a worm.

"How thrilling." Felix failed to reign in his famous sarcasm, though he did had to admit it was kind of cute how easily amused you were.

"Huh? Ahh!"

"Y/n?!"

Suddenly you lost your balance, wobbling on your tip toes in a crouch and it almost seemed as if you were going to become fish food, but a strong hand pulled you back by the scruff of your armour just in time.

"Oh thank the goddess, I thought I was going for a swim there. Thanks Felix." You laughed nervously, glancing back at the now frenzied water, the fish going crazy for the bag of pellets you'd dropped. That could have been you in there!

"Y/n you need to be more careful! What would of happened if I wasn't here?" Felix frowned, crossing his arms.

"I'd of gotten a bit wet I guess..."

"Hmph..." the Fraldarian shook his head, "Lucky for you drips can't get wet."

"Hey! What's that supposed to mean?!" You complained, trying to catch his eye as he continued to look unimpressed.

"You heard me. Now come on, let's go to the dining hall. It's lunch time, your friends are on the menu today." Felix began to walk off, not even giving you a chance to respond.

"Felix? Hey Felix! Wait up!"
