I know it's hard to get over
But we gots to get sober and move forward
We been stagnant too long
Not moving on keeps us from growing strong
Just holding on to a ton
Of the things that went on
We gotta move along break through the cracks
Push threw this concrete
Still keeping our stems intact
Black Roses setting goals to Rise!
Like Jack and his bean stock
We got plans to reach the sky
But you gotta let your past pass
You already strong that ton that you held
Gave you the strength to move on
And As much as I hate to be
Ima be the police
And I'm about to pull you over
Your past is on your shoulder
Keep trying to rub shoulders
Your past won't let you move forward
So I'm giving a summons to court ya
And on our date
I let you know that I been there before
And LETTING GO is more than hard
But you have to in order to grow
Or the world will pass you by
While you stuck with no hope
Stuck in your head in your feelings
Broken heart and your memories
Gotta let your past pass
To start getting some healing
Let your past pass in traffic
Or escort it to the door
Let your past know
That it can't hold you here nomore
Life's got more better things in store
And when you let your past pass it opened up more doors.🚪
🗣Let your past pass have a funeral for its ass throw it in the trash 🗑 You have to let you past pass!!!😁
