1850 Tristian's Story

Part 4

Later that evening my Father arrived he is same height as me, he always makes sure that he keeps himself tidy in a suit every time you see him but it doesn't mean he won't get it dirty. He likes to keep his appearance fresh because your appearance matters as he always says. I greeted him at the door when he arrived as I was walking into the parlour. He looked at me then he said "you going to give your old man a hug", we hugged and he continued saying "about time we finally see you get married", he laughed he always thought my choices was wrong but I'm glad he happy. My mother and Eliza came downstairs and greeted my father he hugged them both. We later meet for dinner Father was telling us about his journey. "How the scenic route has changed" he said. We continued to talk while having dinner, we spoke about the business and we spoke about the upcoming events and my mother thought my dad should know the local gossip.

After dinner I went to my room to sit and relax as I am looking out the window. Later, I sit at my desk in my bedroom and start writing a memoir about my life and what has happened over the past few months. I started getting to the bits that did not make sense, how do you write about your life went upside down. I am not saying the choice to marry Anna was not bad, but I am on about it how that blonde women Rebekah changed our lives. I sat and thought I felt like making this book telling my mother and father everything that happened or who ever found it after.

A few hours have passed since I started writing, as I looked up the sun was raising, I cannot believe I spent majority of the night writing. I decided to get a couple of hours before getting up, so I got into bed and went to sleep. A few hours have past there was a strange noise at my door. I sat up and I said, "who's there", the door opened it was Anna. She came in and as she shut the door the realisation that I had no top on. It is not right for a lady to see a gentleman this way, but I could not care less. She walked over to me and sat on the end of my bed then said "are you ok my love, Eliza told me she could hear you up most of the night", I looked at her concerned look on her face. I replied to her "I'm much better now for see you". As my eyes meet her, I could not believe that her eyes are on my body. As she's staring at my body, I take the opportunity to grab her hand and pull her to me as I pull her, she lands on top, our faces meet and then I can't help but kiss her soft and wet mouth and as were kissing, her hands going across my body and mine doing the same. My hands are on her waist. My hand makes the way to her back to undo her dress but then there was a knock on the door. So, we jumped up and then a voice behind the door "can I come in", its Eliza and before I could answer Anna replied "yes two second", Anna throws a shirt at me and I put it on and cover myself then Eliza came in. We spoke and interacted I am so happy that Anna and Eliza get on or else people would not understand how close we are.

After Eliza left to go and meet Edward, I walk to Anna and grab her close and kiss her, she then said to me "are you ready we got to plan a wedding", I nodded and then went downstairs to where my mother and father was entertaining Anna parents. The afternoon spent planning the wedding she's so focused on planning the wedding, I'm so happy this girl knows what she wants but as I realised the type of wedding, she wants is a small wedding just our families and that's it. I am kind of glade that she only wants a small wedding. It went swiftly the afternoon my dad and Annas dad sat in the study having a drink and my mother and Annas mother talked in the parlour and Anna and I went and sat on the patio. I decide to ask, "Are you ok as I'm a bit worried about you". She looked around and then at me and answered, "I'm ok just so worried about what's going on in our lives", I reassured her and then we kept each other entertained. We also discussed what is going to happen after the wedding where we will live, and I told her just to focus on the wedding I will sort the rest out.

It came late and as me and Anna are sitting on the porch the front door opened and Annas parents came through and my parents, Mr froth in his black jacket said "Anna we are going now are you ready", Anna nodded and we all said our farewells and as they go down the path in their Carriage. We walk back into the house my father said, "Son can I have a word with you in the study", as were walking down to the study I am thinking does my father disapprove. We're in the study and then my father shuts the door and then said "son I'm pleased that you found someone to spend the rest of your life I'm going to tell you now I Approve son", I could not be more happy and I said "thank you Dad I need to speak to you about another thing", he nodded I spoke to him about after the wedding if I could live here as my permeant home he then later replied with "yes" and I smiled. We continued talking and he also mentioned he will continue to pay for the house for the first five years of our marriage. We sat and drank some whiskey and then after I walked upstairs and went to bed.
