1850 Tristian's Story

Decision day for Eliza and Edward

Today is Friday, Eliza came down the stairs glowing with the bundle of joy she is carrying she is showing a lot more. She said to me "good morning brother", I replied and gave her the biggest smile, we spoke about how she's feeling and what she's up to today and she told me she's going to relax with Anna and pamper her in the house. After I spoke to her and went and checked on Anna and joseph and then I had to run and get some stuff. Today I popped into town to buy Anna a present and to get somethings from my office.

Upon on my arrival to my office, I had people congratulating me then I walked into Edwards office just to check on him as today was a big day not just for him and Eliza but for everyone we would have a decision of what the future holds for us all. Edward sitting at his desk as I walked in and the moment, he looked stress, but I feel sad for him as he was going to be stressing with extra paperwork his got with me not being here. He looked up as he sees me arrived and said, "you ok", I replied to him by saying "yeah are you", he explained that his just late with the paper work and that his had an awkward week with the decision. I told him do what is best for you and Eliza he smiled I went and continued to do my jobs for the day. I got home and that is when I sat with my son Joseph and sat holding him in my arms in the chair while Anna was asleep in bed. As I looked at this bundle of joy in my arm and his chunky checks, I could not help but look at. I said to him "I love you forever son", as I said it Anna walked over to me not noticing that she woke up.

Later that evening me, anna, Eliza and Edward, sat on the patio watching the sunset on this spring evening. Then as we sat their someone was walking up the path, we knew who that was her blonde hair shined in the light and as she got closer, she was wearing a dark green dress. As she got towards us she said "Anna and Tristian I hear congratulations are in order since you had a baby", Anna went to snap at her but before she could I said "what do you want Rebekah", she looked at all of us and replied with " I came for the decision off Edward and Eliza are you taking my offer or not". Me and Anna looked at them and that's when Eliza looked at Edward and that's when she said "No were not going to take your offer as they are going to need a moral compass", me and anna looked at them and that's when Edward said "we was cursed either way cause life could not go any further with you and your going to need us to help to find each other". I smiled at these two going to stay curse with us unfortunately I felt sorry for their baby.

Rebekah then said "well if that's your decision have fun for the rest of your life knowing that your child will be orphan", that's when Eliza said "that's what you don't get do you we have a family that will support our children, we don't care what happens to them as long as their looked after", I never seen her get angry but I noticed Rebekah was getting angry and that's when I said "I think its better if you leave", she said "that's until the next time", she left walking down the path.

We hugged them and thanked them and that's when joseph started crying and Anna said "I'll get him it's feeding time anyway", Anna went inside and that's when I asked them "when did you have the decide", Edward then answered "the day joseph was born", I looked at Eliza and that's when she said "our baby will have joseph to look after them and if mom and dad are going to raise them I know they are going to make them as strong as we are".

As Edward went in I sat and spoke to Eliza and said "remember when you was 5years old and fell over by the lake and you hurt your knee", she nodded and that's when I continued "do you remember what I said to you", she then said "yes, you said I am going to look after you little sister I will protect you for the rest of my life". I said "we would not have minded you choose to watch the children grow up", that's when she looked at me and said "but you wont be able to protect me if your not here". My heart warmed as she said this me and Eliza have been remarkably close since we were young, and we always looked after one another. When we was young I never left Eliza out, I always make sure her life was set and not with an issue but my little sister thought it be better for her to protect us as she always put everyone else first instead of herself. That is what I love about my sister, my actual best friend this is what my life has been like.

That night me and Eliza spent talking about our childhood, I said "do you remember that one summer when we spent the day in the living room making a hideout with moms' sheets". She nodded and smiled, as I watched her sitting their smiling. Then we went in and I went upstairs to check on Anna and Joseph, they were fast asleep. I sat at my desk and continued to write this book for him and my niece or nephew, so they have something to know their parents. This book contains all the information they need to know about the family. I finished the chapters and went to bed.
