1850 Tristian's Story

Part 14

As I arrived at work, I walked to my office and continued to my office. On my way to the office and then that is when I see Nathaniel sitting at his desk looking lost. As he seen me, he got up and made his way to my office, I entered my office and then he shut the door behind him as he entered. That is when he piped up by saying "tell me what happened with you and Rebekah". I looked at him I was pissed that he asks me now and not waited till later I had jobs to do that I could not get done at home. I looked at him and then I said, "you have bad timing to ask". I started to tell him every little detail he then gave me a look like his mind has gone blank.

It took Nathaniel a while to get the information into his brain and he then told me he was so shocked at what she done. I think what made it worse he did not know there was witches and still about. He said to me "I am so sorry, I should have told you I was bringing a lady around and told you who she was instead of just bringing her without your permission", I then said something I did not want to know but I had to ask, "you still with her". He looked at me telling me he wanted to wait to hear what I had to say. He then said, "I do not know what to do, we have been friends for years". That is when I told him "do what's best for you Nathan life's too short", he nodded and smiled after we discussed work. Then we continued with our work later that workday I was sitting writing up the reports and then that is when she came into my office with out a knock. Rebekah said, "what the hell is wrong with you", my receptionist came in behind her and said, "sorry sir she just barged in". I nodded and told her that it is fine and then I turned to Rebekah and said "what the fuck are you doing here", she's standing their looking at me with her red dress and her long blonde hair falling down the side of her face. She looked angry and that is when she said, "are you and your bitch satisfied with ruining people's lives, he ended it with me", that's when Nathaniel walked in.

Nathaniel said, "it was my choice to end it not theirs", she looked at me like I was going to get stabbed here. She looked at Nathaniel and said, "you better watch your back Nathaniel and for you better keep an eye on what next in your next life". She strutted off making sure she knows, she was here. As she left the office Anna just walked in with joseph she charged into my office handing joseph to my receptionist and walked towards me and said "what was she here for", Nathaniel sitting on the chair in my office said "that's my fault, I just ended the relationship with her".

Anna then said "do you love her and do you think you could make her happy", Nathaniel was standing thinking and I thought the same thing did he love her and then that's when he said "I don't know", Anna told him "think about it and then decide".

Nathaniel nodded and we all sat and spoke about numerous things like books and what we had planned then Nathaniel left, and we said our good byes.
