Chapter 34: Round One

Opens into a view of the golden sun in an orange sky over the tall grass and autumn tree. In the front of Y/n's old gravestone. The very same Y/n this time a lot more older and is a mutant faunus now with his cloak blowing thru with petals  in the breeze. Y/n Rose stands over the white stone memorial as he sees his 5 year old younger self scared and terrified.

Y/n: *lowers his hood, smiling sadly downward* "Hello old friend.."*looks down at the inscription: Y/n Rose - Life scatter with the wind* "I know you are afraid...but it's time you put to rest..you must be brave a push forward for you and I have met great friends. Sure I wish you and I were still human. But you will push forwards thru the darkness. You reunited with your old family. You found the a girl who loves you." *Y/n kneels down to the crying 5 year old spirit of himself*

5 year old spirit: "W-what if Mommy and D-daddy, s-soon s-see m-me as a m-monster.." The older Y/n gives his old spirit and pats his old self.

Y/n: "That will never happen, our mommy and daddy love you with all their hearts, so does our older sisters. Uncle Qrow and Aunt Raven they all love you. No matter how scary it will be, just know you will never be alone. You will be a leader of your own team, (F/I) NEM." *Y/n then pulls his younger self close into  a hug as his younger self crying and hugs him back* "Tell me you want to be someone who helps other right?"

Younger self: *nods* "Mhm.."

Y/n: "Then take these three rules to heart when you go on your own journey. Rule#1: Never back down or give in..for if you do that the  people you care about will get hurt if you do. Rule #2: No matter what happens ,keep winning until you die, and if you lose for one battle learn from it so you can defeat them one day. and finally the third rule and the most important rule of that could never be forgotten: Strong warriors are those who fight for themselves and their personal needs. But.....the stronger warriors who can defeat the strong...they fight for others."

He looks over to his younger spirit as his eyes widen in awe for his older self. He watches as he see his younger spirit look at him with confidence and smiles at his older self as he fades away with the wind. Y/n looks over to the sun set and smiles.

Y/n: "Safe travels...Y/n Rose." With that Y/n walks away to his family as the a group of crows fly into the sun to make a very familiar sight.

A falling petal shifts the view of the camera away from the sky and over the grassy mountains, where a stadium of epic proportions is seen. Crowds are cheering in the stand, visitors from all over the world. In the field of a volcanic earth and icy glaciers below, Y/n is seen jumping out of the earth as he pulls out his gun, Obsidian firing an off screen target as Emerald exchanges blows with Reese Chloris, the blades of her Thief's Respite colliding with the hover board of her opponent until she flips away, readies herself, and charges in again. Behind her, Neopolitan, blocks an upcoming attack with her  Parasol: No Longer Hush as it gather energy from the attack. Finally  Mercury Blake dodges the explosive force of Arslan Altan's fist with his Talaria, before returning fire with his own weapon.

High above the action, two familiar teachers are sitting at a sportscaster's desk, with a microphone between them and the holographic image of the four kingdoms' symbols united as one.

Port: "For those of you just now joining us, welcome to the Vytal Festival Tournament, broadcast live from the Amity Colosseum!" *he waves his arm to gesture at the entire event from his place on the gigantic screen over the crowds*

The Coliseum is shown its full glory, as shuttle craft transport people to and from the various floors while the entire structure hovers around the airspace of Beacon Academy. Explosions are seen throughout the battlefield, but the view shift back to the announcers as they begin speaking again.
