Chapter 7: Lessons

Your P.o.V

You and Your team were currently in Oobleck's class along with Team RWBY and Team JNPR. Jaune was currently sleeping his head resting hands while a constantly-zooming and fast-talking Professor Oobleck is in the middle of lesson zooming around, But you heard all of it already. So you decided to distract  yourself by writing down formula's for Neo's cure as it was almost complete. But the problem was that you were missing a component to the formula.

'Damn what could be the last component to Neo's cure?'

Oobleck: *appears in front of you* "Mr. Rose, would you like to answer the question?"

You look up at him and put down your paper and sigh. Your siblings and friends looked at you worried.

"The answer is Faunus's enhanced hearing."

Oobleck: *eyes widen in surprise* "Correct." Everyone's eyes widen in shock on how the hell can you answer that. But then Cardin slams his fist down irritated.

Cardin: "You probably just guessed the answer."

You look at Cardin out of irritation until you started to snickers irritating him more.

Cardin: "What's so funny?"

"Let me ask you something, Cardin Winchester don't you think you should give up your little charade. It's getting old..."

"Of course you would say that...After all only a idiot like you would say that." Cardin gets more angry as you continue to school him. "If you actually do your research like your supposed to, your would know General Adonis was even more inexperienced then General Lagune. He lead an entire army into his their own demise during a fog. He assumed that if he could use the to his advantage in the fog with total silence he would win. But with his own stupidity he forgot on of the most important difference with human and Faunus.  Which is enhanced hearing. Perhaps if he'd actually did his research he wouldn't be in the same place as General Lagune."

Cardin stand from his seat, fist clenched in anger.

Cardin: "YOU'RE A NOBODY NOT LIKE ME, YOU'RE JUST A UGLY FREAK THAT DESERVE TO GROVE ON THE GROUND AND KNEEL BEFORE ME."

You look at him bored and sarcastic smile.

"Sorry the floor is kind of dirty.."

He finally snaps and hits you in your face. Yang's eyes turns red and clenches her fist furious and Ruby gets up from her seat. But Emerald, Mercury and Neo raise your hand up telling them to wait.

Cardin smirk instantly turns to fear as you just look at him bored and easily moves away from his fist not even fazed. You put your hand on were he punched you and look to see if you had blood dripping down which you had none.

"Hm.." You smile with a calm look on your face "When you can't of anything to say do you always resort to violence.."

Cardin: *backs away scared* "I...I guess..."

You stand up, look at him giving him a calm look and bored tone.

"That's your problem...you don't know when is a good times to talk or when to fight.." *You tilt your head and look at him calmly* "Right now is a good time to talk, so don't even try to fight here.."

You look over Professor Oobleck and Bow gently*

"Doctor Oobleck please forgive me and Cardin for interrupting your class.  I will take any punishment for what happen here.."

Oobleck: *puts his hand on your shoulder you look at him as he smiles at you* "Mr. Rose, there will be no punishment to you. You may return to your seat."

You nod and sit back to your seat.

Oobleck: *looks at Cardin* "Mr. Winchester, see me after class."

(Timeskip)

Class had ended and you were stacking your note/Textbooks. together preparing to leave. But then one of the papers containing a set of formulas flies down without you noticing. Professor Oobleck walks over to the paper and reads it.

Oobleck: "Mr. Rose, you dropped this." *hand you the formula*

You look and you smile and takes back the formula.

"Thank you Doctor Oobleck."

Oobleck: "*chuckles* "I must ask what is that formula for, It seems to be different ratios of different type of dust." 

"Oh well that because it is. This formula is to create this." You go to your side holster to take out a unusual silver dust crystal."

Oobleck: "A dust crystal?"

"Not just any dust crystal and artificial Dust crystal."

Oobleck: "Impressive, but what is it's purpose in creating a silver dust crystal."

"Well"

Weiss: "WHAT IS TAKING YOU SO LONG?"

Weiss walks over to you a bit irritated.

Weiss: *irritated tone* "Y/N, you dunce, everyone is waiting for you, what is taking you so long?"

"Oh s-sorry.."

Oobleck: "It was my fault entirely Ms. Schnee. But Mr. Rose is showing me the artificial dust crystal he created."

Weiss: *Looks at the silver dust crystal in your hand and her eyes widen* "You created your own dust crystal?"

You smile: "That right, actually your timing couldn't be any more perfect! Do you have Myrtenaster with your right now?"

Weiss: "Yes but what for?"

"Why a demonstration of course." You hand her the silver dust  crystal.  "Now I want you to slash me with weapon."

Weiss: *Widen in horror* "WHAT ARE YOU INSANE?!"

"Nope, the right after u slash me use the silver crystal with your rapier. Trust me it doesn't have to be a big cut just a shallow one."

Weiss was very scared but she put her trust in you and left a small shallow cut on your arm with her rapier. The using the silver dust crystal fires a pulse blast on you. But instead of inflicting more damage your cut began to heal instead, which astonished both Oobleck and Weiss.

Weiss: "How on remnant?"

You take out the silver dust crystal.

"As you can see it isn't designed to harm rather it heal any injuries and restores aura instead."

Weiss: *eyes sparkles* "That's incredible, a healing dust crystal is unheard of!"

You chuckled, "Yes this took m a couple of weeks to get the ratios right but I say it paid off."

Oobleck: "This took you a couple of weeks?"

"Yeah, but I would have gotten this done in one day if it wasn't for some Mutant attack, repairing my team weapons and and moving around a lot."

Oobleck: *curious* "I see.. Mr. Rose can you come to my class tomorrow for a test?"

"Oh..um sure I don't see why not. Anyway I believe me and Weiss should get going." You grab you stuff. "Have a good day, Doctor Oobleck." 

Weiss and you say your good byes to Oobleck as you went to go catch up with the others.
