Armaan was sitting on a table alone. We joined him , and Maliha immediately started making small talks in order to fade out the awkwardness but it did not lasted long which meant I had to step in .
'I have to confess something , Armaam!' I finally said turning towards him.
'Look, there's ice cream, I will get myself an ice cream. Excuse me!' declared Maliha and began moving towards the stall. So much for not leaving me alone!
'Look, Armaan , I know how you would be feeling about me that I completely ignored you after that,.......you know! But I wanted to talk to you personally, not in some kind of virtual app!'
He said nothing and was staring at the table continuously like it was some staring competition.
I continued my speech- ' I have been finding a chance to meet you and talk to you for past 2 days but couldn't find a chance and in the bus......'
I was brutally cut down in muddle sentence by a familair voice, Mr. Roy's!
' Inaya? What are you doing there? Don't you have a attendance to take. Do you think I have gathered you all here for some kind of relationship talks?' he said cruelly , probably the first time he had said something like this to me!
'And you', pointing towards Armaan 'Don't you have something else to do? Maybe if you invest your time in some productive things , you would reach somewhere in your life!'
What the hell is going on? What did Armaan do? He wasn't even saying anything. As we hadn't enough issues of our own, he is adding more to it. Armaan would probably never talk to me again!
After exactly 3 and half minutes, I handed the list to Samira to forward it to that psychotic creature to whom I couldn't stand to tolerate anymore.
Then I rushed to my room in order to call Armaan who left the cafeteria the second Mr. Roy was done scolding for the day. He didn't picked up any of my calls, so I decided to go to his room to check upon him if he was even in his room.
To my surprise, he opened the door on the first knock but just as he was about to close it ,on seeing me , I forced myself in. Thank god , his roommate was not there!
'I am so so sorry, Armaan, I don't know what is up with Mr. Roy!' I began my apologetic speech.
He turned around and sat on one of the chairs in the room and started looking out of the big window probably avoiding any eye contact. I could see his eyes nearly bloodshot due to the anger and his disgust in me and his hands quickly balling into a fist on hearing the name 'Mr. Roy'.
In order to calm him down, I sat on the glass table besides the chair he was sitting on and rested my hand on his clenched fist. He jerked his fist away and walked to the other side of the room (away from me)!Tears started rolling down my eyes, my legs were starting to freeze and refused to cooperate with me , I couldn't move which made more tears to fall and the thought of losing one of my best friends started haunting me already. After around 5 minutes of sittinng there, I started to gather all my strength in oreder to leave him alone as he probably didn't wanted to talk to me, I mean he didn't even look at me, not even once.
As I was about to grab the knob of the door , I heard footsteps approaching me, I turned around and the next thing I knew , I was pinned agained one of the walls with his warm lips on mine!
