He immediately stopped scolding me when he saw tears rolling down my cheeks. He began pulling his hair and avoided looking directly at me. He seemed confused , more confused than me, then out of nowhere he grabbed my wrist in order to get me out of there but it was so painful because of the bruises that I pulled my wrists away from him and finally said ,
' You should have never saved me the first time and saved yourself with all the guilt you are feeling now, I would be fine without you and you would have saved yourself from all this mess which you are stuck at the first place because of me'-I managed to say, still tears rolling through my eyes as I continued,- 'and I know I am not your responsibility or anything , you must be tired of rescuing me every time and babysitting me around, I am so sorry for it but from now on, I am letting you go from all the mess I have created by coming in your way and ruining your life,I think it's best that we should part our ways from now on and choose our paths by our own, separately! I finally said it all and I felt relieved like a heavy weight had been lifted away from my chest,I looked in his eyes and waited for his reply, something, anything, but nothing came from his mouth, his face was expressionless and flustered, turning around I moved away from him, still hoping that he would stop me or say something but nothing happened, I was so hoping that he would deny all the accusations that I had recently imposed on him , but nothing happened , I guess I was right about him, not looking back , I kept moving away from him!
As I began moving forward , I felt kind of confident but also kind of scared of all the growing darkness as it was already night time, but I was happy with my decision of going on our separate paths, I could not drag Mr. Roy with me and let him risk his life for me all the time, I came in this town to be self sufficient and confident and not to be dependent on anybody so how could I depend on anyone when he does not wanted me around, clearly!
