OBLIVION (series -1)

Chapter- 21

I repeatedly requested him to put me down but it seemed as if he was caught in a trance and not listening any word I was saying. For the first time, I noticed how perfect his face was , of course apart from the bruises on it, his eyes were bloodshot probably due to lack of sleep and the situation we were in, but his lips were pressed in a tight grin like he was recapitulating the whole situation in his mind. He almost carried me in his arms for about 1 hr. without even looking at me . And then he finally put me down under a canopy of a large tree, probably a banyan tree with its aerial roots perfectly falling onto us.As it was not beautiful enough, almost around, less than one feet apart, was a stream of fresh water flowing perfectly and carelessly which was coming down from a gorge from the top a hill. It was a scenic view, of course if the situations were different. I was lost in the moment when Mr. Roy finally spoke,

 'I will get you some water!'  And started walking towards the stream without even waiting for my reply. Why is he behaving like this? What did I do? If he is so angry at me, he probably shouldn't have rescued me. Perhaps he must be regretting the moment he found me unconscious this morning, he wouldn't be stuck with me if it was not for me. But I didn't begged him to rescue me , he should have walked away from me if he is regretting it so much. But at the end, I decided not to confront him anything and disguise myself in his behavior.

After almost a minute, he came with a pile of water collected in bunch of leaves joined together.Why is he bringing me water if he hates me soo much? Its too hard to understand him, he must have some ulterior motive behind this too. I wanted to ask him so many things, like how he rescued me ?, what happened to those men who were guarding me? Moreover most important question:: how he rescued himself?

 But from his weird expressions , I chose not to!
