Scott was the first to act. Giving him a tight, bear hug. Where as Stiles pretended to be sad Issac was still alive. Groaning; "I thought we finally got rid of you." The others didn't know him as well as we did. Most didn't know him at all. However Scott tended to mention him from time to time-much to your dismay-.
Issac went around introducing himself to the newer pack members, hugging the older ones, and nodding his head at you, not saying a word. He knew it would be, too, awkward for him to say anything just yet.
Before moving to France you were together for nearly a year. Then he left without saying anything. Lydia was the one who informed you he had gone with Allisons father to France. Right then it felt as if someone had ripped your heart out. You had lost your best friend and lover in the same week.
After that you didn't trust. The pack tried to help you learn again, but sometimes you didn't even trust them. It took forever for you to even stay in the same room as Theo. It wasn't until he nearly died saving your life that you gave him the time of day. Now he's one of your closest friends.
Issac sat in the ground in didn't of Stiles and Lydia. Far away from you. Although, it still wasn't enough. You could still hear him laugh, smell his cologne, acting as if no time had past at all. It hurt. Seeing him like this. He looked the same and different all at once. His hair was a bit longer, he looked stronger. His fashion style hadn't changed at all.
The scene of the movie changed. The lead character was racing down an empty road in the middle of nowhere. Then Issac said, "Remember when I had to drive one of the twins bikes in school". That comment send you over the edge.
Running into the house, you went to your room to repack your items. Rushing to get out of there. The sound of foot steps claiming up the stairs didn't phase you. Thinking it was most likely Lydia trying to convince you to stay. It would only be a sort amount of time. You could handle it.
Nothing would convince you to stay.
"Hey." A voice greeted. One that did not belong to Lydia. It was Issac.
You shook your head, fighting off tears." Nope. No, we are not doing this." You growled. Shoving the rest of your clothes into the travel bag.
"We have to at some point." He attempted to to reason.
Oh, how he'd regret his words. He knew you were angry. He didn't need to be a werewolf to tell. However he didn't understand how angry.
"Yeah, well, "some point" should have been years ago. When you left!" You shot back. Now finally facing him.
He sighed, taking a step towards you. Only for you to step back. The pained look on his face shouldn't have phase you. For some reason it did.
"I know I should have told you, but I didn't know how." He claimed.
"So, I don't know. "Hey, I'm not sure I can live in this stupid, fucked up town anymore, so I'm going with Chris. I know it's going to hurt but it's for the best" didn't come to mind. Or even just a simple goodbye! It would have sucked, but at least it would have been something! You left me! You left me alone with even bothering to tell me! I can't believe that our relationship meant nothing-"
"It meant everything!" He cut you off.
You didn't expect him to say that. He had tears pouring down in face. You could see regret in his eyes.
"If it did then why the fuck did you leave." You cried.
"I wanted you to go with me. To start a new life away from here, but I knew you wouldn't leave. Not with your family and the pack being here. They mean so much to you. But I also knew I couldn't say goodbye to you. So I did what I had to in order to leave and start fresh. To be okay again. Seeing you. I wouldnt have been able to leave. So I did the stupidest thing, and went anyway. But I couldn't stay here anymore. To much darkest, not enough light." He explained. This time when he got closer you stay where you were.
He stroked your cheek with thumb, resting his hand on your face. The warmth made you lean into his touch." You were my light. Then everything went to hell and it started to flicker. I didn't think I could help you shine again."
"I hate you. I hate you so much, because I can't hate that reason." You sent him a sad smile. The look on his face was one you hadn't seen in years. It was the look that showed you how much he loves you. The brightness in his eyes, the crinkle around his eyes that showed how happy he was.
"Well you please come to France with me. I'll help with the papers." He begged." Just be with me again. I won't mess up this time"
"How long until you go back?" You asked.
"Two weeks"
"You have two weeks to convince my parents to let me go"
Maybe a new beginning is exactly what you need.
