Scott never expected his senior year to be this way. All the True Alpha responsibilities became something he was use to. The pack was more independent, coming up with there own plans and such. He knew that by the end of the school year they could take care of themselves. While it was relieving, it was also scary. He relied on them just as much as they relied on him. Everything was going to change. He wasn't sure how to handle it.
Word around school was a new student would be arriving. Rumor was they'd be going to either be a junior or senior.
"You think this one well be evil?" Mason asked the pack, as they all stood by Stiles jeep waiting for school to start.
They all gave him a confused look.
"What? No offense, but ninty percent of the time their evil, well be evil for a short, and are or well be supernatural." He defended.
Looking back Scott realized Mason was right. That is what happened almost every time."I never actually thought about that." Maybe things wouldn't change.
The school rang. Everyone entered the school. Scott had his first class with Stiles, but Stiles wanted to walk Lydia to class. So he grabbed his chemistry book from his locker and headed off to class. Before he could reach the door frame a overwhelming heat radiated off his body. He could feel his crawls coming out, his eyes glowing, teeth baring.
Closing his eyes and shoving his hands in his jean pockets. He repeated Derek's trick 'Beta, Alpha, omega' in his head. Beathing slowly in and out, like he was taught. The feeling soon faded away, he was back to his 'human' self.
"You okay?"
Scott turn to see a beautiful- well he didn't know what they were. They didn't smell human. In fact they didn't smell like anything familiar. The heat sensation began to wash over again.
"Yeah." He said acting like it was normal." Just got a headache. I'm Scott, by-the-way" he took his hand out of his pocket, for them to shake.
"Y/n" They smile shaking his hand.
Y/n froze for a second. But it was long enough for Scott to notice the strange behavior.
"Oh my God, it's you" Y/n whispered, backing away slightly.
"What?"
"Ah, nothing. I- I know nothing, I am nothing." They haused, practically running away.
Scott looked on confused.
--------------
The past school week went smoothly for the most part. Y/n apologize for their behavior. Claiming they hear about Scott for his Lacross talent. He knew they were lying, but in order to know why they lied he'd have to get to know them. To his surprise that was the only time Y/n lied to him.
He did learn quite a bit. Their favorite movie was f/m, show was f/s, food was f/f, they loved various types of music, constantly read, their weakest clas was w/c, favorite color was red, and had a small fear of needles, but still wanted a tattoo. Even though it was a short amount of time he could feel himself fall for her. It was strange. He felt free around them, safe, everything thwy talked he loved the sound of their voice so much he wished they would talk to him forever, that heated feeling would always happen when y/n was around. He never felt this way before, not even with Allison.
He asked Y/n to come over and help with his moms birthday party he was planning. Hoping they could help with the Playlist.
He drove them over to his house after school, Melissa was working a night shift. As the hours past they were able to get a Playlist, guest list, cake flavor, plus which bakery they thought would be best to order from.
"I should probably get home now." Y/n said, as the clock read 7:30.
Scott looked a little upset, but he knew he'd see her tomorrow at school. As he got his coat on and both helmets he couldn't help but wonder. Why did they freak out the day they met?
"Can I ask you something?"
"Its never good when someone says that." Y/n laughed, putting on their jacket.
"Why did you lie and say the reason you freaked out was because of the lacrosse rumors." He asked.
Your began to panic. He would believe you. Not at first anyway. You hoped that your heart had stayed steady enough to fool him that day, turns out you were wrong.
"Okay-okay-okay, I can do this" you mumbled to yourself.
"I'm psychic. Not the Lydia kind of psychic, the real actual psychic. I saw that you where the True Alpha when I shook your hand. I've been hearing about a True Alpha for as long as I've had the gifts, and the reason is, because I was told I was their mate." You explained.
"Your my mate?"
"I was sure at first. You know I highly doubt you're the ONLY one, but then more and more vision came the more we spent time together, and I put some of the clues together.
At first they were just symbols like yours and your friend Derek's tattoos, the animal clinics watermark. Then I see people who I've never met until you introduce me to your friends like Stiles and Lydia. Then I saw us...getting married. And I didn't tell you becauseI really like you and didn't want to freak you out." You said.
Scott stood still. Shocked by all this information. You admit it might not have been the greatest idea spilling it all at once, but in your defense its not like he was going to give up on the subject.
"Do you have to get home just yet? Maybe I could take you finally." He smiled.
"No see this isn't how it should happ- wait did you just say finally?"
"I've had a this amazing feeling when I'm around you, I've been wanting to ask you out for a while now." He admitted.
"In that case. I'd love to."
