Chapter 8
Gru waved at him through the window and Bob just watched as his love's face blurred into the distance, the train becoming smaller and smaller until it was impossible to see.
It was the next day and Bob was invited to sit with Stuart now that he didn't have his love of his life with him. Bob was trying to stay positive but thoughts of Gru getting hurt in war flooded his mind.
Stuart looked over at Bob.
"You good?" He asked him.
Bob sighed and shrugged his shoulders.
"It's only been the first day and I already feel lost without him," Bob said quietly.
"You know what, let's go to the store and pick up some supplies for you to write a letter to Gru."
Bob's banana face light up.
"Yeah, let's do that!
The two of them got in Bob's minivan and headed over to the dollar store. Bob picked out some paper, a pen that will only be used to write to his love, and some pretty yellow envelopes so Gru would be reminded of him. He couldn't wait to write to his pointy nosed lover again.
