The police/reverse mermaids had finally arrived at the death penalty mansion. Each room was dedicated to a different form of death and Gru was to be taken to the electric chair. On the hallway walls there was a photograph of each person who had died here so they would be remembered.
They burned the frozen ice off of Gru so they could get a picture of him for their wall. The reverse mermaids forcefully pushed Gru into the electric chair.
Gru was now dead and Bob, was never the same again.
