It was the next day and Vector could tell Gru was still feeling off.

"Hey look Gru, I know I wasn't the nicest back in the day but I've changed and holding a grudge against me isn't going to make you feel any better."

Gru shrugged his shoulders as he sat down next to him. Vector put his hand on Gru's shoulder.

"You're going to be alright," he told him.

Gru was surprised by how nice he was being.

"I just can't get the image of Bob and Olaf out of my head." He said sadly.

"Well maybe I can help with that," Vector replied.

"I don't see how you could though."

"Gru, I'm sure Bob was fun and all to date, but not all relationships are meant to last and that's okay. Your time with him is over and I know this hurts you greatly. Seeing you in so much pain is terrible, but I can help you get over him," Vector said.

Vector inched closer to Gru, their hands slowly coming together. Vector put his other hand on Gru's face as Gru started to touch Vector's shoulder. They gazed into each other's eyes for a moment. Gru then kissed Vector. The feeling of being wanted over came Gru. He kissed him again.

Vector could take Gru's mind off of Bob. There was no other way he could think of and to be honest, Vector had kind of a glow up since the last time he saw him. He had been working out a lot after all considering that he is in the war.

"Feel any better now?" The war carrot asked.

"You know what, I do actually," Gru said.

The two embraced each other in a hug and kissing each other softly one last time before they went off to breakfast.
