Danny's P.O.V

I can't believe I actually found him! I was so scared... I carried him to the school since he was asleep, laying him down on one of the benches that were in the hallway. Rebecca showed first, looking sad.

I stood up, walking to her. I held a finger to my mouth signaling for her to keep quiet. She looked confused but did so. I grabbed her hand and led her to where Freddy was, a smile on my face.

"Oh my god, i-is that-" she questioned, but shut her mouth.

I nodded, pulling my hand back to my side.

Penny and Zizzy walked through the doors, frowning. I looked at Rebecca, then back at the two hybrids. Her bunny ears perked as she nodded, getting up and walking towards them.

Freddy had shifted in his sleep, looking distraught. I sighed, setting his head in my lap and started petting him. He smiled, snuggling up to me more.

"You guys look cute.." I heard Penny whisper, walking with Rebecca and Zizzy.

"Oh shut up, he looked worried..."

Penny rolled her eyes, not buying it. Rebecca looked sad, though she hid it well. Kind of. I'm gonna have to talk to her about it later. Zizzy giggled, sitting down next to foxy.

"So, you're obviously carrying him. But, should we go now or just camp here for tonight?" Zizzy questioned, relaxing her shoulders.

"I think we should go now.. the infected might find us." Rebecca states, placing a hand on her hip.

We all nod, getting up. I picked up foxy bridal style and asked Rebecca to carry my axe. She nodded, picking up my axe with her other free hand since her other one was holding her crossbow.

Zizzy knocked sternly on the small entrance, earning some shuffling from the other side. The door finally opened, revealing a overjoyed Mandy. We were ushered inside rather quickly by her, hearing the door shut and a lock being locked (idk).

"Oh my! Is that Freddy? Well of course it is, I'm stupid.. where'd ya find him? Who found him?!" Mandy shouted, making my dog ears hurt so they flopped down, trying to cover up the noise.

Freddy shifted in my arms and slowly began to wake up. I gave Mandy a quick glare before I set Freddy down on one of the blankets. When he fully opened his eyes all of us gasped. How did I miss this? I must've been too overjoyed.. The younger kids hid behind their older siblings while zizzy, Rebecca, Pedro, and Penny grabbed their weapons.

"He's one of them."

"What will he do?"

"How could Danny let an infected in here?!"

All of us argued until he got up and rubbed his eyes.

"G-guys?! I-I thought I was left alone! It's so great to see y—"

Freddy ran to us, arms open like he was gonna give us a hug. I stepped back a bit, going to get my axe that Rebecca has sat down when we entered. Zizzy quickly drew her fencing sword out, placing it in front of Freddy. He quickly stopped and stepped back confused.

"Don't come any closer Freddy." Zizzy demanded, narrowing her eyes at Freddy.

"W-what? W-why are you guys acting weird?" He asked.

"You're infected!-" Zizzy yelled but was stopped by Mandy.

"Infected don't talk though, right?"

Zizzy lowered her weapon, looking puzzled on what to do for once. We gave concerned looks towards her, not sure of what to do either. She took a deep breath and exhaled, looking at Freddy.

"You aren't going to kill us, right?"

"Of course not! You guys are my friends, I wouldn't hurt you...." he said, looking down at the ground sad. His ears flopped down and his tail stopped wagging.

"He's a rare infected.."
