      Y/N always believed that a person couldn't fall in love when they are young. There is no way someone could be in high school and be actually fall in love with another person. Maybe it was her speaking from personal experiences of being infatuated with another and it never working out. Or it could be the mere fact that teens brains are not fully developed, so they're stupid to think they actually are in love with somebody.  

love is scary, way to much for a teenager to handle.

Yet she slowly found herself falling head over heals for Midoriya Izuku. 

His green emerald eyes were breathtaking to say the least. The way they shined when he spoke passionately about something he loved. Or the look of determination when in battle. His motivation was envious, and his kindness towards everyone made the girl just gush over him even more. 

Y/N hated herself for feeling this way, she was totally disregarding her own opinions.

"I'm not in love, I'm just infatuated with him, big difference...

But all I want is to be with him, to make him happy, for him to hold me close.." 

The way Midoriya was able to knock down Y/N's barriers astounded her, she never knew one person could ever do that. It angered her, everything she built came tumbling down right in front of her and she couldn't stop it. Y/N felt terrified.  

The warmth she felt in her heart when they would talk, to the moments when Midoriya encouraged Y/N to do her best - it made Y/N fall even harder. 

And it tore Y/N's heart out of her chest when she saw that bubbly brown haired girl with him all the time, so close to him, smiling and laughing with him. The way he looked at her, it was something Y/N has never seen before. His cheeks would erupt in red, and he became nervous and jumpy. All because of her. 

Y/N only set herself up for disappointment, she should've known better than to trust someone when her heart is on her sleeve.
