Chapter Four | Isela

Saturdays have always been the same for me. Stay up in my room for hours and stuff my face with books, a lot of them. Read different Novels and recommended texts, catch up on pending school work, assignments, projects and other things that all have to do with studying and books.

Mom and Zeke go jogging during the earlier part of the morning, leaving me at home. Don't get me wrong, they've invited me along a couple of times before but I decline their offers because I don't see the need to keep in shape. I don't have to impress anyone or anything and so, exercise hasn't really been my thing. Now, they just go without me. I definitely heard them arrive a while ago but I was too caught up in my book to go downstairs.

I flipped my thick black hair while turning to place my current read, the novel called 'A Midsummer Night's dream' on the night stand. I realized my hair was getting too long as it was reaching my butt already. I needed a haircut really bad and maybe a wash too. Hair and skin care is so not my thing!

I felt my tummy grumble loudly, a resounding reminder that I haven't had any food all day, so I decided to get up and find something to eat. I dipped my phone in the pocket of the shorts I was wearing and walked slowly out of my room. Zeke's room is directly opposite mine so as soon as I stepped out of mine, a wave of strange noises hit my eardrums. Perplexed, I swung the door open immediately without seeing the need to knock, but what I saw next, told me I really ought to have.

A pair of thick, creamy legs were wrapped tightly around Zeke's waist, just below his sweaty bare back and a pair of slim arms were wrapped around his neck. Her body was blessed with voluptuous curves that didn't seem to agree with her skinny upper body. He was facing the unfamiliar red head who was pushed against the wall and kissing her like his life depended on it.

They were not totally naked, but some elements of clothing that were supposed to be on them, were lying on the floor. Oh.. Dang.... So she was the one responsible for the Bullion van-ish noise?

"Ewww, gross, this is disgusting. Eziekel, you unrepentant manwhore," I screamed while using my fist to bang the door agitatedly and the other hand to cover my eyes in embarrassment. He slowly turned to face me with a knowing smirk, still not detangling himself from the heavily breathing doll faced girl with an annoyed scowl on her face."What did I tell you about knocking?"

"Oh, forgive me for thinking you were in some kind of danger and you needed some help. How could I have known doll face here was the one making such loud noise, I'm outta here," I closed my eyes and shook my head, evidently disgusted.

"It's Barbara," Dollface yelled, poking her head out, above Zeke's shoulders,  showing her tangled fiery red hair that covered half of her face and was flying in different directions. Similar to barbie,  there are barbie dolls, so at end of the day, we're all correct.

"Close the door on your way out and next time make sure to knock the darn door before you barge in," Zeke chuckled and possibly continued with his show as if they weren't interrupted but I was long gone so I didn't necessarily see what happened next. Not that I wanted to anyway. That just completely ruined my appetite.

I got down the last stair that lead to the living room and paused when I saw my mom was on a call. I smirked and sneaked up to the back of the sofa where she was currently sitting to listen in, cause it sounded like an interesting conversation.

"I've told you countless times, Preston, I'm busy. I can't go on a date with you. Besides Why would I?....."Okay, I'm hanging up," She rolled her eyes and slammed the phone on the space beside her. "Mom," I said, and she jumped out of fright and widened her eyes but rolled them as soon as I took a seat beside her, wrapping a hand around her shoulder.
