The next morning came bearing a certain heaviness

The next morning came bearing a certain heaviness. I woke up to an empty room; no sudden sleep interruptions luckily. My heart would still get anxious when I thought about the events from last night. So, I stayed away from recalling anything related to yesterday for the better.

I knocked thrice on the door in front me before yelling, "I'm coming in!"

"Finally." Jordyn huffed, as I shuffled inside Sera's suite. When I had woken up about an hour and a half ago, I was greeted with a text from Sera, telling me to come straight to her room after showering. That she had to have me brief the guys and her about today's plans.

The plans that she made.

But well, I was the maid-of-honor, after all.

I made a face upon seeing all of them sprawled across the room. Link was on the bed, falling asleep. While Jordyn occupied the bougie rug in front of the bed and Beck was busy scrolling through his phone on the cute pastel sofa by the left.

"And here I thought I'd be the first one over," I muttered under my breath.

"You are never the first one, dear." Sera made an appearance out of what seemed like a walk-in closet. All three guys shamelessly nodded their heads in sync, confirming their affirmations to her statement.

"Wow, thanks guys." I rolled my eyes and leaned on the sleek wooden table just under the TV.

No one paid even a single drop of attention towards my comment and resumed whatever trivial things they had engaged themselves in. Those indeed being sleeping, taking out rug strands, busy scrolling on the phone and casual shuffling around the pretty, white suite.

I shook my head before speaking again. "So, what do you guys wanna do today?" I added a tinge of excitement as I clapped my hands together to twist some heads around.

"Ugh . . ." Link groaned. "Some people are trying to deal with a hangover, woman."

"We have an important discussion at hand, you can pause your trying." I clapped again. "And you," I started, as I walked over to where Beck was splayed on the sofa and snatched his cell in a quick motion.

"Hey!" he complained, jerking up.

"You can have your belonging at the time of dispersal," I said, while pocketing his phone.

"Okay, miss," he taunted as he sat back in his seat.

"Good." I smiled. "Now that I have managed to seek all of your attention, I'll start with today's itinerary . . . um, Sera?"

She sighed and shook her head, standing up to take my place. I gave her a sheepish squeeze on the shoulder before occupying her spot on the bed. I sat with all my might, making the spring of the bed go out of bounds. Link glared at me. "Give me a break, you," he gritted. I just smiled at his distress.
