Chapter 5

In the middle of the night:
Spencer's pov:
*Door closes*
I wake up to hearing the front door close, I get up and look at the clock, it's 3:30 in the morning. I grab my gun out of the gun safe and quietly walk out of my room to check on JJ, she's asleep. I close her door and walk slowly walk into the living room, I see a 2 figures and I point my gun at the two figures. The figure turns around and I see Will and the girl that he was with yesterday, I put my gun down and turn on light
"Will? What are you doing here? I thought you went out of town? And who's this?" I asked quietly
"Spencer, jeez put your gun away. This is Kayla, we've been together for a 4 months" Will said, I can feel my blood boil but I don't show it. I gesture Will to talk to him privately, he nods and we step into the kitchen
"Who's Kayla? Aren't you dating JJ?" I whispered
"About that, Kayla had my child. We've been seeing eachother for some time now"
"That doesn't answer my question Will, if you're dating Kayla then why start dating JJ?"
"I started dating JJ before I knew about Kayla carrying my child, she reached out to me and we started going out"
"So why didn't you just break up with me then Will?!" I look behind Wills head and see JJ on the verge of crying, Will looks at me
"About that Will, I forgot to mention JJ slept over because she fell asleep when I was helping her study" Will nods and starts walking to JJ
"Cher, I promise you I was going to tell you"
"Tell me when? Why wait 3 months to tell me what was going on? Why didn't you just break up with me when you and the girl started going out?" JJ's tears were now sliding down her face, I wish I could comfort her but I don't want to get involved
"Cher, you don't understand. Kayla had my child, I want to be there when he grows up so we got together" Will explained
"That doesn't mean you should've lead me on for 3 months! You could've told me and I would've understood and let you guys be together"
"It's not that easy"
"Seemed pretty easy to just cheat on me instead of growing up and breaking up with me huh? You know what Will, i'm done fighting. What are you even doing here? I though you told Spence and I that you're "out of town" for 2 days" JJ said wiping her tears away
"I came back to get my things and then i'm going to be at Kaylas house" You can hear the guilt in Will's voice. JJ walks back to her room closing it
"Well... I'll see you in 2 days Will" I said, Will nods and brings Kayla into his room. 5 minutes later they both walk out of his room and head to the door
"Bye Spencer, ill see you in a couple of days" I nod closing the door behind them, I lock the door and go to the guest bedroom
*Knock* *Knock*
"JJ, it's me" I said talking to the door, a couple of seconds later the door opens to a puffy eyed JJ
"Oh JJ" I open my arms hugging her, I lead her to the bed to sit
"Why Spence? What didn't he just break up with me?" JJ sobs into my chest, it hurts to see what Will did to her
"I don't know JJ, I wish I could tell you why" I said sighing, I put my chin on her head and we stay like this for the next 10 minutes
"Do I have to go to class tomorrow?" JJ asks looking up at me
"Not unless you want to, you can come to work with me if you want" I offered
"That would be great Spence, but we have to bring something fun so I don't get bored" JJ said making me chuckle
"I'll call your school tomorrow morning, you should get some rest. We're going to be studying most of the day tomorrow" I said smiling making JJ groan
"Fine, good night Spence" JJ said kissing my cheek, I blush and let her out of my arms
"Good night JJ, ill wake you up in the morning" I said walking out of the room, I walk in my room and just stare at the ceiling thinking about JJ. I try really hard not to think about her but she keeps popping up in my mind, it starts getting hot so I take off my shirt and go to bed.

In The Morning:
*Beep* *Beep* *Beep*
I wake up to my alarm and get up, it's 7 in the morning and I get out of bed to go to check on JJ. I can see her peacefully asleep so I get my phone and call JJ's principal to tell her JJ's not coming to school today
"Hello, this is Mrs.Brown"
"Good morning Mrs.Brown, this is Dr.Spencer Reid from the FBI we met yesterday"
"Ah, yes, What can I do for you?"
"Jennifer won't be attending school today due to personal reasons, but I would like for you to inform her teachers that I will be stopping by to collect the work she will miss today"
"Okay, about what time will you be here to pick up her work?"
"At around 8 if that would be possible"
"Yes, I will inform them now. Thank you Dr.Reid" "You're welcome, have a good day" I hung up and sigh in relief, I look at the clock and it's 7:10 in the morning. I have to wake up JJ so we can pick up her work and go to the office, I walk out of the kitchen and walk to her room
