Chapter 7

The Next day:
Spencer's pov:
*Beep* *Beep* *Beep*
I wake up to my alarm and look at the time, it's 7 in the morning. I turn off my alarm and go back to sleep, I fell back asleep for 10 minutes until someone jumps on me. I open my eyes to see JJ lying down on top of me
"Wake up Spence! We're going shopping after breakfast" JJ said with excitement in her voice, I close my eyes again going back to sleep until I feel a pillow hit me in the face
"Wake up Spence" I open my eyes and smile immediately seeing JJ lying down on top of me
"Good morning JJ" I said, my voice raspy from just waking up
"Good morning Spence, get up and get ready" JJ said, I look at her and she's already changed. She's wearing a white cropped spaghetti strap tank top,jean shorts with rips on the bottom,my black jean jacket,her black high top converse,and sunglasses on the top of her head. I walk into the bathroom changing into a long sleeve button up flannel leaving the top two buttons unbuttoned,black jeans,and my black high top converse
"So, you like my jean jacket?" I ask walking out of the bathroom
"Yea, it goes with my outfit" JJ turned around to look at me and she smiles
"That's what I call fashion Spence, nice job" JJ said giving me a high five, I laugh at her and grab my sunglasses
"Come on JJ, lets go to the lobby. I like your outfit by the way" I said with a smirk, I see her blush. We walk out of our room and go into the elevator
"You plan on buying anything today?" I ask
"Maybe a new pair of shoes, I have to get something for Kenz though" JJ answered, of course she's going to buy shoes. I laugh at her and walk out of the elevator meeting up with Morgan
"Well,well,well. You guys look like you're ready for hollywood" Morgan said as JJ and I walk up to him
"I am" JJ said, making Morgan and I chuckle
"Pretty boy, isn't that your jean jacket from yesterday?" Morgan asked looking at JJ wearing my black jean jacket
"Yea, she said it goes with her outfit. Whatever that means" I said, JJ punches my shoulder playfully. Hotch and Gideon walk up to us, JJ starts to look at all of us
"Hmm, less professional. Getting somewhere but Morgan, loose the leather jacket. Makes you look like a biker" JJ said, I burst out laughing and Morgan takes off his jacket eyeing JJ
"What? I'm trying to help you Morgan, you're not going get girls looking like a old biker dude" JJ said, now we all laugh
"Okay, lets go get breakfast" Gideon said, we walk out of the lobby going into to the buffet. After an hour we all finish eating
"Departure time is at 8:30pm, you have 7 hours to do anything. I'll see you all later" Hotch said walking off with Gideon
"Come on boys, you guys are stuck with me for the day" JJ said pulling onto my arm, Morgan and I look at eachother. We walk to city walk and JJ brings us to a shoe store, I see a pair of old skool vans and purchase them. We wait for JJ to finish buying her shoes and walk out to go sit down at a table
"Where are we going now?" Morgan asked
"I say we go back to the hotel and and relax in JJ and I's room" I suggest
"Let's go" JJ said, we all get up and go back to the hotel. I unlock the door and I put my bag down next to my suitcase, I take off my shoes and lay down on JJ's bed
"What do you think Hotch and Gideon are doing?" JJ asked getting into her bed next to me
"They're both probably in their rooms doing files" Morgan said lying down on my bed, Morgan turns on the t.v flipping through channels. I look over to JJ and she's trying on her new shoes
"Oh come on" I said looking at JJ, they both look at me confused. I get up and take out the shoes I brought
"You and I just bought the same shoes" I said taking my shoes out of the box, Morgan laughs at us
"Well looks like you and I are going to match Spence" JJ said smiling, I sit back on JJ's bed watching the t.v. JJ sits next to me leaning her back against my arm and takes out her laptop
"What are you doing?" I ask JJ
"I have to skype Kenz, she just finished class" JJ said, I nod my head and pay back attention to the t.v, Kenzie answers JJ and the first things I hear is squealing. I listen to their conversation

JJ's pov:
"Hey JJ, where are you? Is that your FBI friend next to you?" Kenz asks
"Hey Kenz, i'm in L.A and yea Spence is next to me. Spence say hi" I said looking at Spence, he waves and goes back to watching the t.v
"Why are you in L.A? And who is that behind you guys?"
"That's Derek, he's part of Spence's team. I'll tell you why i'm in L.A when I see you in person" I said smiling not wanting to tell her that i'm part of team
"Okay, I have to go JJ. Homework doesn't finish by itself"
"Bye Kenz, i'll see you when i'm back" I said with a smile hanging up, I put my laptop away and lay down on my bed putting my head on Spence's knee. We watch t.v for 2 hours and I can feel myself getting hungry
"Hey guys, i'm getting hungry" I said lifting my head up from Spence's knee
"Yea, I could go for a burger" Spence said, I stand up from my bed and stretch. I put my shoes on and we all walk out of the hotel room going downstairs to see where the closet place to eat is
"There's an in and out 5 minutes away from here" Spence said, we walk to in and out and get ourselves a booth. I sit next to Spence and start eating my burger while we talk and laugh. I realize Spence and I are going to be together everyday and that I already have a spot on the team, i'm grateful that Will introduces me to Spence or these offers wouldn't have been open to me. After eating we walk to Santa Monica Pier to watch the sunset, I jump on Spence's back and he carries all the way to the pier and I stay on his back. We all watch the sun set and the sky is turning pink,orange,and yellow. I lay my head onto Spence's shoulder and watch the sunset, I take out my phone and Morgan,Spence and I take a selfie to remember this day. The sun sets and I get off of Spence's back so we can hurry back to our hotel room to get our stuff and meet Hotch and Gideon on time. We grab our go bags and meet up with Hotch and Gideon who are already there
"We're here" Morgan said
"Good, lets start driving to the jet" Gideon said, we walk out of the hotel and Spence and I get into the SUV while Hotch,Gideon,and Morgan go in the other SUV. He starts driving and the others follow behind us
"You know, today was a good day" I said looking at Spence
"Yea, it was. When we get back you and I will be basically together everyday" Spence said smiling
"I know, you're just going have to sit there and you can profile every single person in my class" I said, we laugh and Spence pulls up to the jet. We get out of the car grabbing our go bags and get on the jet, Spence and I are the first ones there and we sit at the booth
"Do you think Will is back?" I ask Spence
"Probably, are you ready to talk to him?"
"I don't know, I mean we were friends before we started dating. But I don't know if i'm ready to be friends again" I said looking at Spence
"Well, you guys did just break up. Give it some time" Spence said, I smiled at him
"Thanks Spence" The others get on the jet and we start flying back home, I put my head on Spence shoulder and fall sleep.
