You try to justify what is unjustifiable
Try to condone what can't be
Say it's because you're a boy
Say it's because you have options
Say we're all human after all
But put your mediocrity to the side and answer me this,
How can you exert heart, soul and being into loving someone who does the same for you but at the same time give affection that is undue to someone else who doesn't stir all those emotions in you?
We're all human it's true
We're not blind to beauty. Attraction will be there
But how do you let your thoughts breach their natural bounds
How do you feel the galaxy for one person and justify tearing them down
It's not normal
It's inhumane
To close your heart to the suffering of someone you claim to love
To loosen your lips for the touch of someone else
To leave your skin bare for another's caress
In truth, your love's suffering you chose to embrace
By entertaining yourself at the expense of their emotional health
Justifying what you do
Believing that at the same time they owe it to you to be true
Not doing the things you do Keeping themselves grounded while they have options too You believe it's your right for them to be humane to you
Well if you choose to make this mistake once or twice expect them to do it too
Let them be human too
Let her be a girl
Let him be a boy knowing full well it'll shatter you
Be inhumane and barbaric
That's what I consider this There's nothing justifiable, there is no bliss
Non at all when you refuse to see the holistic meaning of love; when beauty you choose to miss
