~Zachary~
When I woke up, I felt very different than I have before. Probably because it was my birthday. I wandered downstairs and rubbed my eyes.

Mom was making breakfast and set a plate of pancakes down. "Quickly eat." I sat down and poured syrup over them.

Someone came into the kitchen and I glanced over at Alyssa sitting next to me. "Why are you here?" She reached over and kissed my cheek.

"I'm taking you to your birthday surprise and if you don't hurry up, we'll miss it." I sighed and started on my pancakes.

She waited patiently for me to finish, keeping an eye on the time. As soon as I took the last bite, she took the plate and put it in the sink and ushered me upstairs to my room.

"Okay, Mom, what's the plan?" She rolled her eyes. "I don't want us to miss your surprise!" She threw a shirt and jeans at me and left the room.

I quickly changed and put some shoes on. As soon as I finished tying my laces, she dragged me downstairs to her car.

"Damn, you're really pushy today." She stopped and glared at me. "We're going to be late and it's going to take forever to reschedule!"

I grabbed her arm and stopped her. "Hey, I'm just teasing you. Don't overstress this." She sighed and I kissed her softly.

"Sorry. I just want you to have an amazing day." We got in and she started the car. I looked through her CDs and put in a fall out boy one.

The drive wasn't too long but longer than a normal drive we'd take. "Where are we going?" She ignored my question and hummed along to the music.

She finally stopped and I looked up. We were at a tattoo parlor. I looked at her. "What?" She unbuckled and smiled.

"I know you've been wanting us to do matching tattoos since I turned eighteen and I figured it was time,"

I smiled brightly. "It's hard because it's weird that I can go in any time and go get a tattoo or a piercing without my parents and it's still hard for me to comprehend that I'm actually an adult now."

I took her hand and squeezed it. "Hey, I understand. I still sometimes think I'm a high school student instead of an adult in a band,"

I brought her attention onto me. "But, we're in this together. And I will always be here for you through anything."

She leaned over and kissed me. "I love you, Zack." I smiled again. "I love you more. Are you ready?" She nodded and we got out.

We walked towards the door and I glanced at her. "Did we decide what we wanted?" She nodded. "Yeah. You'll love it."

We went inside and got ready.

So, I was just going to post this chapter, but I got an email from my storytelling teacher and she told us that if we're working on any stories/movies/scripts/etc, to tell the class about it.

HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO TELL THEM I WRITE FANFICTION ON WATTPAD WITHOUT LOOKING LIKE A CREEPY FANGIRL-

I'm ready for my death🤩
