EXCUSE THE MISTAKES
They left Miami after a month-long stay. Jaz didn't want to leave but she couldn't lie, she missed her cousin like crazy. Being with Kylo was more than great but she needed her girl time.
"I'm gonna miss not waking up to you every morning," Jaz whined, looking over at Kylo who was sitting next to her on the private jet. He was scrolling on Instagram and responding to comments. "Has it really been a month?" she asked.
"Yeah, it could've been longer. But you insisted on going back so soon. I told you the label would have paid for however long we wanted to stay as long as I was in the studio," Kylo argued. He enjoyed having her all to himself. To him Jaz was perfect, so he didn't mind spending all of his free time with her. She motivated him to do more and he already had a few songs written about her.
"Well, maybe we can go back in a couple of weeks. Right now I have to see my cousin. She's the only family I have and I miss her." Jaz reasoned with a puppy dog look on her face. "Plus I haven't slept in my bed in weeks. I probably got hella shit in my fridge that needed to be thrown away."
"It's coo' baby. I know you need your space." Kylo chuckled and placed his hand over hers. They landed after a short flight and Kylo instructed his driver to take Jaz to her apartment. When they walked in the putrid smell of old garbage filled the small space. Jaz went over and immediately removed the old bag, tied it up, and replaced it with a new one.
"Remind me again on why you want to come back to this? To be honest I don't feel right letting you live here. It's the hood and now that you rolling with a nigga like me people might be at your head. Come stay with me. I've got plenty of room," Kylo proposed. He didn't feel right living in luxury while his lady was slumming it in the projects.
Jaz looked at him "Ky, you do so much for me already. I can't live with you. I just got out of something serious and it just wouldn't feel right jumping into something new head first," Jaz reminded him. "I've never even lived on my own."
Even though their connection had increased beyond just sexual, Jaz wasn't ready to jump all the way in. She was feeling him heavy though. She needed to learn how to love herself completely before she tried to love someone else.
"I'm not staying here tonight. Shayla wants me to come over for a girl's night. I might just stay over there for a couple of days. Until I get back into the groove with everything, like work and stuff."
"Work? Are you still thinking about dancing?" Kylo asked with an eyebrow raised.
"Yes? I don't plan on doing it forever but I still have to make a living and right now dancing is the only thing that puts fast money in my pockets. Plus it's kind of fun and I'm good at it."
"Okay baby girl I can dig it. I can tell you have a strong head on your shoulders and I'm not trying to make you feel like I'm trying to take the wheel. I just want you to know that I'm here to support any decision you make. Even if you decide to not work at all. " Kylo promised and wrapped his arms around her small waist.
"Thank you, baby," Jaz said and gave him a quick peck. "Now let's get this stanky ass garbage out of here."
After cleaning up her apartment a little Jaz packed a few things in her overnight bag and left. Kylo's driver dropped her off at Shayla's house after they went for a quick lunch. She was more than eager to see her cousin and she couldn't get out of the car fast enough.
"Alright boo. I'll call you before I go to sleep." Jaz said before she tried to hop out of the car. She was so eager to get to her cousin that she didn't even kiss him goodbye.
