Jay wakes up early in the morning and yawns. He was still naked in bed, lying on his stomach and neck to Xena. He looks over at Xena to see she's pregnant.
His eyes widened in shock and surprise "oh my god, I'm going to be a dad!!" He said excitedly in a whisper. Jay gets out of bed and gets dressed. He kisses her cheek before walking out of the room to let her rest.
He heads downstairs to the kitchen to get started on breakfast. Searching the fridge to find eggs and bacon that was still good to eat.
"Now let's hope the oven still works" he said and slowly goes to the switch and turns it on to see it works. 'Yes' he said, surprised there's still power though the town is abandoned.
He gets a dirty pan out of a cabinet, he gets it cleaned, then starts to use it to cook eggs and bacon. 'She's going to be so happy and hungry! I guess I don't mind eating tomorrow' he said, putting her needs before his at the moment.
Xena wakes up in bed. She groans a bit and stretches. She remembers what she did with Jay and smiles. She looks to her right to where Jay was laying last night. She sees he isn't there.
"Jay?" She said softly and then looked to her left seeing he is not on her left side either. She sighs and then looks at her stomach which looked nine months pregnant already. 'Oh sh*t' she thought. She blushes and rubs her belly softly while purring from it.
She then smells bacon and leans up slowly. "Something smells good," she said. Wagging her tail quickly in excitement. Drooling on herself a bit as well.
She gets out of bed and grunts a bit and makes her way slowly to the kitchen. The baby giving her eight to nine extra pounds just in her stomach region made it a bit harder for her to walk.
She then comes to the stairs and stares down them 'got to be kidding' she said and then walks down the steps slowly. Holding onto the railing with both her hands just in case she loses balance. She was panting a bit heavily from the extra weight and stress she's experiencing while trying to keep her soon to be born baby and herself safe.
Upon getting to the bottom of the steps she makes her way into the kitchen to see Jay was up and smiling, making something for breakfast.
"Hey Honey" she said while holding her pregnant belly. She was also a bit wobbly in the legs from the extra weight.
Jay looks at her "Hey Xena, how'd you sleep?" He asked, then looked at him.
"I-I am ok, just a bit uneasy, but otherwise I'm ok!" She said, Jay walks up to her and hugs her gently then helps her sit down.
"I'm making bacon and eggs for my special girl," he said smiling. Xena looks at him and blushes. "Now just sit, rest and I'll be done with the food in a few minutes" he said and walked to the oven and continued to cook the food.
Once it was finished he puts it on a white glass plate that he found in a cabinet and puts some eggs and bacon on it, more like all the eggs and bacon, then hands it to her and sits down.
"You're not going to eat?" Xena asked with a tilted head.
"I can wait, you need it more than me at the moment" he said and smiled at her. Xena nodded slowly and began to shovel it all in her mouth. Eating twelve pieces of bacon and four scrambled eggs.
After she ate everything within three fourths of a minute, she had a mess all over her face, so Jay giggles and cleans the front of her dome head where her eyes would be and her mouth clean from bacon bits and small pieces of scrambled egg.
"Are you satisfied now?" Jay asked
"Yea I guess I am for now" she replied
"That's good, I'm going to head out for some supplies. I'm going to make a garden so we can have fresh food within the next few months. Since the food we have now won't last more than a year at least" he explains.
"Ok...so you want me to stay here? But what if I become very hungry again?" She asked
"Well there's ham in a container in the fridge, you can eat some of that while I'm gone" he said, getting what he needs to head out for the small journey.
"Ok can I have a hug and kiss before you go?" She asked a bit eagerly.
He giggles "alright" Jay said, giving her a soft gentle hug and then a good long passionate kiss. "There you go, now be a good girl ok" he said.
"I will be the best girl!" She said smiling, wagging her tail quickly as she said it.
He nods with a snicker. He makes his way to the front door and waves before heading out the door to scavenge for supplies.
Xena looks at the now closed door for a moment then at the fridge for a moment. She begins to drool over the thought of ham. "Maybe just one bite," she said.
