A Xenomorphs Mate

The Return (Day 9)

Jay walks up to the house he and Xena picked out yesterday and sighs before heading inside. Xena was cuddled in blankets watching the tv. There were no local stations on but any station past a 100 mile radius was still operating as the invasion of xenomorphs hadn't gotten that far.

Especially since the invasion only started about a week ago, so most likely their are still people around within 10 miles or farther from their current location.

Jay walks to Xena and she is covering up nice and snuggly in her two blankets keeping her warm and the unborn child extra warm in her stomach.

"Hey Xena I'm back" he said with a soft smile, as well as some noticeable bruises on his face and other parts of his body where they aren't so noticeable.

Xena sees the marks "honey are you ok?! What happened?!" She rushed out of her comfortable blankets and spot to make sure he's ok.

"Yea I'm fine...though how can you see my marks? D-Don't you have bat vision?" He asked.

She looks at him "well yea i do use echolocation but I can still see the marks"

Xena looks at you "hey just go along with it" she shrugs and looks back at jay and helps him to the bathroom.

"Umm who were you talking to?" Jay asked.

"No body" she replied and sat him down on the toilet seat and got a rag and set it with cold water. Lucky enough the water was still running too. They should probably fill jugs up before they shut it off.

"T-thanks honey...for the help and all" Jay said and smiled softly towards her. She smiles back and kisses his non-bruised cheek.

He blushes and hugs her. She hugs back and looks at him. Jay looks at his arm bandage and rubs it softly.

"So what happened out there?" She asked.

"Well I went to look for stuff at an abandoned store and then I got...jumped by two xenomorphs" he said nervously.

"What?!?" She was shocked and worried.

"Don't worry, I killed them...I didn't want to die and leave you and the baby alone, or thinking I abandoned you" he said softly.

She nods "honey...it's ok, you're fine" she said and holds his hands inside the palm of hers. He looks at her to see she's looking at him with a cute lovable smile. He smiles back and hugs her with a kiss too. She purrs and returns the hugs and kisses too.

They pull away and blush, they leave the bathroom and head back to the living room and Jay sits next to Xena to cuddle for a bit.

He looks at her big belly and blushes more "may I...uh rub your belly?" He asked shyly. She nods and lets him. Jay rubs her belly slowly, blushing while he rubs her big smooth stomach with his child inside. Xena really enjoyed it and purrs.

"I got tools and seeds to make a farm in the backyard" he told her.

She nods "sounds like a good idea, but the back won't be big enough, not even for one person"

He looks down "oh, I'm sorry"

"It's fine, we can move somewhere else sooner or later, like a farm house with a huge amount of land"

"Sounds like a good idea, but I'm going to go ahead and get started on the farm out back" he said getting up, kissing her one last time and taking the tools he got to the back.

Xena watches him until he is out of view. She then looks back at the tv and slowly huddles back up into her blankets and watches the show she was watching.

Jay hums and uses the shovel to dig up a big rectangle in the yard to hold four rows with eight seeds planted four to five inches apart from each other. He used the Hoe to better mice up the dirt and make two inch dents between the four rows. One row has potatoes, another has watermelon, the third has carrots and the last one will have corn. He had extra seeds but didn't have room for them in the garden.

Jay hums and then turns on the hose that was thankfully still working and water the plants while humming. Then he hears loud footsteps for a few seconds, then a shadow.

"Hello there Jay" the feminine voice said from above him.

Jay looks up and drops the water hose and gasps "oh...my....god" he said looking up.
