Chapter Four

The next day was quite extraordinary.

Alby left me with Chuck to tour. He says his got a lot of work to do. Work.

People have been busy here, I noticed that none of the structures are made of cement but they are all made out of wood. People in here had been living with all of their selves trapped in these walls.

The doors started to open and Atleast three guys came in, Minho and Alby and some guy I don't recognize.

"I thought, no one is allowed to go beyond the walls?" I ask Chuck, interrupting him with his stories. I walk closer to the huge doors and stopped infront.

"Well, they are Runners, they know what to do in Maze." He simply says caught off guard.

"Maze?"

"What Maze?" His eyes widen.

"You said Maze." I say.

"I did?" He looked shocked.

"So beyond this walls is a maze." I wandered closer to the doors Infront of me.

"Don't get to close Tori." He warned. "Someone might caught you."

But then in a three seconds of wandering my arm is immediately jerked backward which made me stumble back a little bit. I thought it was Chuck, but I was wrong.

"What the shuck do you think you're doing?!" He scolded me as his face gave me a glare.

"What am I doing?! What about what you're doing?! You just pulled me in an instant!" I defend.

Then a group of boys came towards us, I noticed Newt and Thomas in the crowd.

"Calm down Gally." Thomas says as he hid me behind his back.

"Next time, I'm not gonna stop her." He spat and walked away, some following him.

"Are you okay?" Newt says as he walks towards me.

"Yeah I'm fine." I nod.

The sun was starting to set and we've been waiting.

"They should be here by now." Newt says.

"What if they don't make it?" I ask.

"They'll make it." He nods.

But then the walls started to close. Panic filled me. "We should send someone to help them."

"That'll be against the rules." Gally chimed in.

Then I caught a glimpse of them in the other side. Alby was unconscious, Minho was dragging him to the other side. People behind me started to shout; 'Leave him!' 'Come on!' 'You can do it!' And other words that I can't seem to understand because of debating with myself.

I thought of going or not, Alby's my friend and so is Minho, even I barely know him. The doors are already 2 meters away from closing.

I should go and help them.
