Mine? (newtmas fanfiction)

Day One

Thomas's Pov~

The night was filled with pretty much no sleep i was thinking about the maze to much. I had a thousand questions racing through my mind. But somehow the darkness consumed me and i fell asleep.

"Hey greenie." There wasnt an accent and the voice wasnt to deep so i knew it had to be Minho. I immediatly shot up the opissite way of the voice and put on my shoes.

"Wow relaxs greenie we got a little bit before the doors open," he said this in a whisper and he put both his arms out like to calm me. " me need to get you a sling and a few weapons plus paper. pencils, and a watch."

"okay sure lets go." I didnt really know Minho but i started to like him he was nice but most the time all he did was make smart alec jokes. He led me to the map room and said we would be taking section eight today. He gave me everything i needed pencil, paper, watch, and that sling thing.

"okay greenie now that we have everything and we got your food we can finally leave." He said this with his hands on his hips and put all his wieght on one foot. I had to use all my wil not to burst out laughing.

Newt's Pov~

I got up and the walls where still closed so i decided to go talk to Tommy before everyone started to get up. I got up and put these bulchy boots on then looked over to Tommy's hammock and almost had a panic attack because he wasnt there.

Breath just Breath i told myself. He became a runner hes probably with Minho. And i was right just then i caught a laugh that could only be Tommy's. But there wasnt anybody to my right so i looked over to the med-house and saw them both. Tommy was laughing his head off and Minho just sat there like his sassy self half chuckling and half glaring at Tommy. I knew i couldnt say anything to Tommy without Minho being all like ahhhh what you got a crush on Tommy.

"Hows it going shanks?" i tried to say casually.

"Pretty good." Minho chimed in before Tommy could even catch his breath.

"Then whats wrong with this shank over here." i pointed at Tommy. And all he did was smile at me and that just made me even more nervous because i might never see that smile when he leaves in the mornings. Minho just shock his head and grabbed Tommy's arm to start dragging him to the doors. Once we got there i knew i had to say something just so Tommy could see i cared.

"Hey Tommy keep this one safe out there today." I pointed at Minho getting a well diserved glare Then the walls sprung to life and started to move. "be careful out there." i said Minho turned around and got ready and i gave Tommy a wink and he winked back then the very rutined one....two.....three came and they were gone.

Thomas's Pov~

Newt gave me that beautiful wink then Minho sounded one....two......three and we were off. Today we were going to go to section 4 where he would map and since we have two people we might go to section 8 after and i get to map that one. Minho was really quiet while we ran and i didnt object i really didnt want to talk. The maze wasnt as frightening as the boys made it seem im mean it was dark and had a lot of ivvy but it wasnt bad.

We ran for two three hours when finally Minho stuck out his arm.

"break time." he said it so calmly i liked that it made me feel even better.

"Im proud of you shank you arent even out of breath and we have been running for two in a half  hours. But good news is we are really close to being done with this section should be done in about half and hour." he said this and took a big bight out of his apple as he leaned agent the wall.

I wasnt really even that hungry but made myself eat because i knew we wouldnt take another brake. Then we were back at it and i studied Minho more carefully now getting ready to map my section. Minho was right we where done in less than half an hour and we went to section four.

"im going to go to the back of the section and then map that you map this part and we can meet up half way then head back to the glade." he said it and before i could even speack he was gone and to the back of the section. It was a little tricky but i started to get the hang of it. Then i was done in no time so i went back through and made sure i was right then made it back to the middle and rested a little bit.

"Hey greenie you done already."

"Um yea."

"Fine then lets get going its getting late." And with that we made our way back to the glade. It was a bit dark when we got back but we made it.

"Hey shanks running it a bit late are we?" This was laced with a british accent and i knew it was Newt. I looked to my right and there he was with a big grin on his face just looking at me.

"Yea but we had to do two sections, and now we are going to the map room. Come on shank." he said this and pulled my arm making me jog and i looked over my shoulder and winked at Newt and all he did was blush. Once we got to the map room we put our sketches in two different trunks.

"So how was day one greenie?"
