𝙉𝙚𝙬 𝙇𝙞𝙛𝙚

Chapter 3

Giyuu opened the door to Shinobu's room. She was laying down on the hospital bed, wrapped with bandages, the arms, legs, chest, even some area on her cheeks. She's still in a deep coma and that made Giyuu sad. He was getting worried that one day, Shinobu might not wake up and just. . .well y'know. Giyuu decided to sit beside the bed that Shinobu was laying on, she looks so . . .peaceful and calm. Even when she's that injured, she was still pretty cute.   Giyuu caught himself observing and admiring Shinobu's face. He blushed at the fact that he said all of that under a whisper, he decided to leave her, as he was about to open the door he looked back at her one last time before leaving her to rest and recover.

"Rest well, Kocho."  He said while looking down to the ground, before leaving the room, completely filling it with silence.

As he was walking down the halls of The Butterfly Estate, he heard Tanjiro calling him from behind. Tanjiro was running while waving his hand cheerfully, beside him was Nezuko. Completely human and able to talk normally.

"Giyuu-san!" Tanjiro shouted as he stopped while panting. Giyuu quickly put a smile on his face, masking his sad expression like what Shinobu likes to do. (Right: Tomioka | Left: Tanjiro)

"I see you got a haircut, Giyuu-san."

"Didn't you noticed yesterday?"

"Eh? Oh, ahah, gomen gomen."

"By the way Giyuu-san, how's Kocho-sans condition? May we see her?"

After hearing that Tomioka immediately frowned and looked away from the both of them. He was still worried and sad that he has yet, failed to protect Shinobu from the demon that has attacked her and or failed to protect Shinobu from a critical attack. As Tomioka was lost in his thoughts, Tanjiro noticed a sad smell coming from Tomioka, it was a . . .very sad one. It was rather sadder than from the one that was coming from Lower Moon 5, Rui. Tanjiro, of course was curious and confused on why Giyuu has suddenly became sad and he panics a bit.

"A-Ah ano, Giyuu-san I didn't mean to hurt your feelings. I-i was just wo-worri—"

Giyuu instantly came back to reality after hearing Tanjiro spoke and cuts him off.

"Im alright, its nothing really."

"E-Eh? Oh...okay, then."

"Kocho's fine, she's still in a coma and recovering. And she's currently resting now so, it might not be a good time to visit her now."

"Oh, okay then Giyuu-san. Then how're you feeling?"

"Im perfectly fine. Now then," Tomioka proceeds looks to Nezuko and Tanjiro with a sad smile. 

"I'll be going now. See you later, Tanjiro and Nezuko." Tomioka added before walking off to the exit.

Tanjiro was able to smell a slight strong sense of grief and sadness before Tomioka completely left. As Tomioka was walking back to his estate, he couldn't stop thinking about Shinobu, he would constantly blame himself for her injuries and critical state. It was a quite walk and he was still lost in his thought when suddenly an unfamiliar sound came from the bushes near where he was walking. He was startled a bit but began to slowly walk to the area where the sound was from. But suprisingly it was. . .
