Chapter eight

The next day, I woke up on my own at 3 am. 'Jeez, it's early.' I thought. I climbed out of bed and walked into the bathroom. I brushed my teeth then went into the kitchen. I cut up some fruit and put it into ziplock bags, then made my favorite peach smoothies and put them into the fridge. 'I'm surprised Katsuki didn't wake up from the sound of the blender' I thought as I walked back upstairs. I changed into biker shorts and a sports bra, then went into the room Katsuki is staying in.

I laughed at his sleeping position. He was laying diagonally on the bed like a starfish. I climbed on the bed and got on top of him.

"Katsuki wake uuppp," I said while poking his cheek. He sturred a bit and I huffed. I leaned down closer to his face and kept poking his cheek.

"Katsukiii it's time to wake uuppp." He sturred again and groaned.

"Shut the hell up." He mumbled. Then his eyes shot open and looked at me. I smiled. "Morning sleeping beauty."

"What the-" He pushed me off of him and sat up. "Where are your clothes?!"

"Oh, this is what I usually wear to train. Now get up! We have training to do."

Katsuki groaned and hit me with a pillow. "I don't even have any clothes."

I shrugged. "We're just going for a run. Wear that, then we can go to your house and get your stuff after breakfast," I stood up and slapped him with the pillow. "Now hurry up! I have a schedule I'd like to maintain." I walked out of the room and went downstairs. I got two water bottles out of the fridge as Katsuki walked down the stairs. He groaned. "The sun isn't even up yet."

"That's the point. I like to watch the sunrise during breakfast. Now let's go!" Katsuki grabbed a water bottle out of my hand and drank some. I drank half of the bottle, then walked outside. I did a few stretches just to stretch out my limbs. "C'mon Katsuki! Stretch!" I said as I pushed I'm over, so he would bend down and touch his toes.

After stretching, I took off running. "Race ya!" I exclaimed. I heard Katsuki groan, so I looked back and seen him running after me.

At around half a mile, he ran past me. "Ha loser!" He exclaimed. I simply rolled my eyes. Once we got close to a mile, I sped past him. "I WIIINNN," I exclaimed. He scoffed and put his hands on his knees to catch his breath.

"Fuck- how did you do that?"

I shrugged. "I slowed down about halfway so I don't tire myself out. Wanna jog back?" He shrugged and I started jogging. He jogged next to me, and I couldn't help but notice his eyes focused on my boobs. 'That perv.' I thought.

Once we arrived at my house, I went into the kitchen and got our fruit and smoothies. "Grab your shit and c'mon," I said before walking upstairs. I put my bottle in my pocket, held my bag of fruit with my teeth, and climbed up to the roof from my window. I sat down and after a minute or two, Katsuki joined me.

We sat in silence and watched the sunrise while eating.

"So.. you do this every day?" Bakugo asked. I smiled and nodded.

"Yea... it's peaceful. I usually do this alone, but it's nice having you here Katsuki," I said with a smile.

A light shade of pink dusted his cheeks, and he looked away from me. "yea uh- it's not terrible being here with you either."

I giggled. "Aw, are you getting shy on me now?"

Katsuki scoffed. "Of course not!" I smiled. "Good." After a few minutes of sitting in silence, I felt something on top of my hand. I looked down and blushed as Katsuki squeezed my hand, silently asking for a response. I squeezed his hand back, and he side glances at me.
